Great food and hot bartenders! The kitchen chef even drank a beer with me and I was able to get a spliff out back 10 out of 10 stars!

Ashley, OH. Blink and you might miss it. Didnt expect to find a hidden gem here... But that is exactly what we found. Turn into their tiny town and you will find the Rusted Nail (a tavern) You will be completely surprised and impressed. I highly recommend this place and this is why: The bar uses some warm lights to create a golden glow among the bottles. Scattered among the bottles are some bobble heads which made me laugh- But the lighting works and creates a good vibe. The inside is done in dark wood and dark paint. Its cozy and classic. The bartender really likes the place (you could just tell and that a GOOD sign) and she was quite helpful with the menu. Their menu is priced reasonable. The food we had was really good. Drinks reasonable. They have live music on the weekends (primarily Sundays) Kareoke on ThursdaysThey smoke their own meats... thats done on Wednesday so if you are looking for wings come on Wednesday. It kind of seems like when they are gone they are gone until the next Wednesday. Lol. I looked over the menu and saw a unique item: Pickle Bacon Grilled Cheese. Thought. Huh. Weird. Had to order it to make my husband say, "really???" Which he did, btw. Well, OMGosh.... That pickle sandwich completely hit it out of the park and was a home run! I was shocked. Delicious. They season their toast a teeny bit which really added to the sandwich. I would get it again...hand to God. We plan on coming back soon. So if you're on the fence... hop off it and head over! Amazing bologna sandwich on Texas toast with bacon, lettuce, onion and tomato!The beer battered onion rings are so good.The ginormous wings are my husband's favorite.Shawn (Sean) is a fantastic cook!

Went there with our riding group for lunch. Plenty of seating on the patio for our group of nearly 20 people. Our table had, shrimp PO-boy, Cuban sandwich, Vermont burger, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and jalapeño potato barrels. The menu selection is up to date, price and quality very good, and portions are plenty, It wouldn't offend me if the side of coleslaw was bigger. Staff was friendly, confirmed orders, and attentive with refills. Service was good, especially when 20ish folks show up, I think we call ahead so it's not a surprise.So now the reasons they only got 3 stars. The picnic table we sat at seemed like it was 2-3" short for adults, leg cramper all around.Maybe a little bit picky, but we did have to ask for napkins and silverware.However my biggest reason is for one of my restaurant pet peeves: servers not knowing what is not available on the menu. Both appetizers we originally wanted were not available, which we were told 15 min+ after placing the order. However we were only charged for the lower cost original appetizers we ordered which was nice.

The service was friendly but the chicken wings were over cooked badly probably won't stop here again for a while hopefully they find a better kitchen staff or do some training

Rusted Nail is the only decent place in Ashley. It looks like it's pretty modern. The interior is clean and there's plenty of TVs. It has some good liquor. The food is mostly barbecue and fried stuff. It doesn't have much competition. It really doesn't even have to try and they would still be okay. The only other restaurants looked like an ice cream place and a nasty looking pizza place. It seems to be more of a bar. The food doesn't look the least bit healthy. It's very meat centric. The rest seems to be fried stuff. I had a Jameson and ginger ale. It's about $5 for a glass. This is a pretty average price. It's one of the few bars or restaurants in the area. It's not that far from Delaware State Park. This is a dining option if you're camping there.

Best bar food in Ohio for sure !! There wings are out of this world!! And get a cold beer. Heaven!

The employees are out back smoking pot. The cook comes out and smokes and has a beer every 30 minutes. No thank you! To bad as the patio is very nice and they have good entertainment.

We've driven past this place several times and were excited to try it. What a disappointment. It took them 15 minutes for them to notice us after getting our menus, with very few customers there. They took our order and we did not receive all of it, but they only had one person working on St. Patty's Day. My daughter ordered coleslaw with her wrap, but apparently they were out of coleslaw, so instead of asking her what she wanted to replace it with, they brought her cottage cheese (which she doesn't like) and steamed vegetables, which were FROZEN to the touch. And we never got our waffle fries. We let the waitress know and she apologized, but never did anything to compensate for that. While we were waiting for our drinks, we watched the waitress do a shot with her friend. Seems like it could be a neat place, but the service was horrible, so we wont be back.

Walked in and was invisible apparently, waited 20 minutes sitting at a table and no one got our drinks, gave us a menu, or even talked to us. It was loud, dirty and unfriendly. So we left. I guess they don't need money idk!
