Rubyne started their soft opening right at the New Year's Day. They focus toward Korean comfort and street food, such as Duk Bokki, BiBimbap, Kimchi Fried Rice and much more. They are also one of the newest addition to the High St. Kitchen [share commercial kitchen spaces]. For now, you can order through their website. Both pick up and delivery options are available.Everything on their menu is pictured. The Curry Katsu Bowl really captivate me, especially with that fried egg on top. I end up getting that and make it a combo set [with half side and soft drink], plus the Dakochi [Korean Chicken Kebabs]. The Curry Katsu Bowl is fully packed. For the katsu, you can select either pork or chicken. I got the pork and it is perfectly fried. Crispy and still retain the juiciness of the pork cutlet. Curry flavor is on point and I love the touch of green onion at the top. For the side, I got the side of Classic Gimbap and those are incredible too. It stuffed with fish cake, egg, carrot, pickled radish, spinach, and imitation crab meat. I can snack on those all day long. I love skewers in general and their Dakochi [Korean Chicken Kebabs] is so good. I got the one with the apricot sauce. Mainly savory with a hint of sweetness, plus that drizzle of mayonnaise.If you are up to trying some Korean comfort food, definitely check out Rubyne.

What a gem. We ordered this on a whim hoping for some great Korean food. We truly were not disappointed. The kimchi rice was fantastic with just the right amount of heat on the back end. The Duk Bakki was excellent as was the bibimbop. The gimbap was the best that I have had in years. I'm looking forward to actually visiting.

I ordered the Duk Mandu soup and the Korean stuffed pastry with sweet red bean filling. The soup had lovely complex flavors and had four massive tasty dumplings that were wonderful to savor. The stuffed pastry was a large fish - crispy on the outside and a wonderful sweet red bean filling inside. It was still warm and the crispness of the outside with the smooth filling made each bite a treat. I can't wait to try more items on this menu.
