We don't eat out often but when we do, it is usually at Royal Thai. It is one of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten at and truly is a hidden gem in Heath. The service is great, even when busy, the food is excellent, and the portions are generous. I typically get the massaman curry with chicken or shrimp pad thai. The chicken is thinly sliced and tender and the shrimp are jumbo and they don't skimp on either. Their medium spice is rather spicy for me (I enjoy spice) so start on the lower end with mild or medium if that is a concern, or go no spice like my partner who doesn't like spicy food.

Came here again after 13 years. Food was great! Service was amazing! Prices are still a bit high, but an overall great experience for a Thai restaurant in Heath, OH!

The service was good, the owner of the restaurant was very kind and quick. I enjoyed the lunch portion size and flavor. However it was extremely SALTY. My friend got the drunken noodles and said hers was as well. I asked for mild spice, but I tasted no spice. I think next time I will get the medium or even hot if I am back in this part of Ohio.

Pad Thai is very flavorful and the lunch portion size was quite large. The service was very good and pleasant.

I am pretty obsessed with Tom Yum soup. I am sort of serious about it when I order two extra large portions. I'll likely eat on that for lunch for days. The family seemed super nice, but they refused to make my Thai tea without ice, even though I wanted it for the next day, and then the soup just... ugh. There was literally nothing in it. Mostly broth, and it wasn't spicy enough for me. I had been passing this place and waiting to try it for awhile, but overall the prices were high and the food we got in return was just not worth it.There are way too many better options for me to ever return.

Decent food. Ordered take out. They only are doing to go orders currently. It took about 30 minutes during a busy dinner time. I ordered spring rolls which I thought were very good. I really liked the sauce that came with them. The pineapple chicken fried rice was decent. It would have been so good if there were more cashews and pineapple. I really liked the drunken noodles. They were flavorful. I did not like the pad Thai. It was definitely my least favorite dish. The staff was nice and it was easy to get the takeout order. Keep calling if it says "user busy".

This is my favorite Thai restaurant and I previously gave them 5 star review. However very disappointed in prices since the new owners took over.

Decided to try this Thai restaurant. Very disappointed especially since the prices were higher than most restaurants. I ordered the Thai fried rice and the flavor was missing for a good Thai fried rice. The yakisoba fried noodles was also lacking flavor and oily. I have had some good Thai food in Columbus. It's sad that Newark doesn't have a good Thai place yet especially when you can't make the basics.

Years ago this place was famous for having aggressively spicy food--to the extent that it felt like a gag to trick unsuspecting diners. Fun to see reactions but owners weren't catering to local taste. Place is under new ownership and it seems like they e adapted too much. Dishes seemed to skimp on Thai-specific ingredients like fish sauce, coconut milk, and even papaya in a papaya salad in favor of more American standards like lime juice, iceberg lettuce, etc. If you are intimidated by Thai food you may still like this place but if you want the taste of lemongrass, coconut milk, fish sauce, etc., there are better options.

This place ROCKS. The owners/staff are super friendly and the food was QUITE good. They got my order out quickly and even gave me a bit extra which was a nice surprise. The portions are generous and once again, I loved the food. I WILL be back here next time I'm in town for business. Don't miss this spot if you're craving Thai.
