Royal American Links Golf Club

After dropping my daughter off for High School golf practice (very cool of the facility) I decided to practice myself on the range and it was in pretty good shape. No restrictions, you can break your driver out which is great because you're not hitting off of mats, and lot of ranges have irons only restrictions. $11 for a large bucket...

$61 for 18 holes June 16 2023. I feel scammed and ripped off. Incredibly overpriced. Bunkers are sh*t. Looked like kitty liter in bunkers. No maintenance. Ground Uber repair everywhere. On almost every hole. It's like they have given up. I live .25 miles away and I will not be going back.

Do not waste your time, do not waste your money. $62 for 18 holes on a course that would be overcharging at $32. Such a shame. What once was a beautiful, perfectly manicured course, that I loved to play, has fallen into absolute disrepair. Bunkers were basically planter boxes, completely washed out, hard as cement with weeds and grass growing throughout. Greens were pitted and patchy, so smooth putts were next to impossible. The course design is so great, the hazard positions and the shape of the tiered greens show that the course has the potential to be great again, but it's a long way away. The great customer service and well stocked pro shop are big plus sides, but not enough to redeem the terrible course maintenance. I Will not be returning, until these issues are fixed which I pray they are before the course folds. Seriously save your money, I'll be letting everyone I know to do the same.

Wouldn't pay a dollar over $30 to play here again. This course has just progressively getting worse. Minimal upkeep.

Course was so rough, huge number of unplayable lies on or near the fairway. Near misses around the green penalized with crappy grass made scrambling impossible. Greens are in poor shape with little to no consistency. Very disappointed.

Really not a favorite of a lot of things this course produces or does. They waaaayyyyy over charge for a round here especially when they don't have rangers on staff to keep the pace of play on target. It took my friend and me 5 and half hours to play a round here and the foursome in front of us wouldn't let us play through. You can't expect everyone to want to play this amount of time, it deflated my energy and desire to like this course. The course was in mint condition but all factors beside this just made me hate this experience. It took me 2 years to play here again and it may take longer next time. Just keep people playing... 20 minutes a hole is ridiculous and has to stop. Poor course management !

Very disappointed overall with our experience at Royal American. What used to be a quality course is now in horrific shape. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are all burnt out and they are still charging $60 on the weekend. Unreal for what the course is in; definitely shouldn't be more than $30 a round/ we will not be back anytime soon.

Very overpriced. No distance markers at the tees. Expected more for what it cost. Won't be back.

Two stars is being nice! Tee boxes, greens, fairways, bunkers.... All looked better near the clubhouse. Crap everywhere else. At the turn IN the clubhouse, the woman working was grumpy/snotty. With what they charge $$$$, its not going into bettering the course. DEF NOT WORTH IT! Needs better management, people who actually care.

$57.70 weekend fee w/cart for a course with zero usable sand traps, one of them was full of weeds (ground under repair?) and the greens were destroyed with ball marks. Probably worth about $35 to $40 for weekend play.
