Rowdy's Smokehouse

Entering the parking lot, we noticed that this was a popular spot in town. When we entered, we were greeted by warm smiles. The atmosphere was very welcoming, clean, and gave lounge vibes. We were welcomed to seat ourselves after placing our order. Let me tell you about the FASTEST service I have ever received in my life. 2 minutes after we took our seats, they brought out our brisket and pulled pork, including our side dishes. The food was hot, very good and fresh in quality, and tasted amazing. The barbecue sauce was made in house and was also amazing. I don't have any complaints, and bring a high recommendation to all of the would-be BBQ enthusiasts passing through the area.

Food was cold. 0 service. Bbq sauces were all empty or not to be found. Dirty tables. Entertainment stops at 7 pm.

Always delicious, but I will say several times I have been here the wings are fantastic when warm/hot. But whomever is reheating them must be microwaving because several are actually cold in the middle. Not lukewarm but actually cold. We like the Hot BBQ sauce on them. Perfect amount of heat and sweet. The atmosphere is very laid back and down home BBQ. Service is simple. Order at the counter then take your number to anywhere you want to sit and they bring it to you. Just no frills BBQ and that's just fine. If only they get those wings warmer....

Stopped here on the way on our travels.Saw this restaurant and decided to have lunch becausewe enjoy BBQ, smoked food etc. esp chicken and brisket. The menu is on a wall board with a variety of smoked food choices. However the only chicken they had was smoked chicken breast or pulled chicken, no bbq or smoked chicken meals or parts which was unusual I thought. However there were an assortment of other menu choices. I ordered the black and blue brisket salad. Portions adequate and just a bit pricey in my opinion. My salad was$9.75 .The brisket had a lot of burnt bark which was so hard I couldn't chew it, otherwise parts of the meat were tasty.My dining mate enjoyed his pulled chicken sandwich, with a small side of smoked beans for , $6.95 . Chicken was tender and smokey but nothing exceptional. Only a sweet bbq sauce was on all the tables, no other choices available. Drinks such as soda and cold tea available around $3.00 a drink.The ambience was rustic, but not overly bright . Staff were friendly. Not sure we would return if we passed through again.

I just had the best brisket sandwich I've ever eaten. Working out of town and thought I'd try this place out and WOW! The brisket sandwich was excellent and the baked beans were tasty as well. I'm from Texas and spent the majority of my life in the south so believe me when I say it's delicious. Highly recommend

Jackson Ohios premier BBQ joint. Great service at the counter and plenty of cold beer and top shelf bourbons to choose from. Some great musicians booked on the outdoor patio. Talent booker has great taste in music. Down right Porch scorcher with Buffalo Wabs & the Price Hill Hustle. 16 oz Ribeye was best I've had in the Tri-state!!!

I'm updating my original 4-star review because 1) they no longer have sweet tea and this is a BBQ joint And 2) They were proudly blaring Morgan Wallen this weekend which is a hard no from me. I like my BBQ without any hint of racism. The food is decent. Takes awhile. Sometimes runs out on the weekend.

First the inside is very ugly and dark. Not laid out well for seating and overall not inviting at all. The counter order process is ok but the prices are extremely high for the portion sizes and is just basic bbq. Nothing special. Don't waste your money eating here. Service was just ok and food was bland.

Friday night pit stop on our vacation. Staying closet by for the night. WHAT A FUN PLACE!! rowdy local crowd. Friendly people. Amazing menu- pretty full of nearly every meat and sandwich and side you could imagine. They smoke their steaks outside. They look amazing as they go by our table and I wish we would've gone with one. The lady at the register - where we ordered- said they're known for their steaks and pork chops. They're out of pork chops. So those must be amazing also. But we ordered the nachos and burgers. Had great drinks. Full bar. Live music.

Rowdy's catered my daughter's wedding and the food was fantastic. They delivered and setup very quickly and they were a hit with everyone. I highly recommend them.
