Rossillis Restaurant

I stopped into Rossillis for a late lunch while passing through Findley on a Friday afternoon. The place is cozy, very clean, and the staff were super friendly. My waitress was quick, pleasant, and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was a big let-down. The lunch menu was a bit immitted, having only about half-a-dozen salads, sandwiches, and entrees. As none of the sandwiches interested me - really, blackened meatloaf? - I ordered the eggplant parmesan. I expected a traditional dish - layers of eggplant and cheeses baked and served like the lasagna pictured on the website. Instead I got 6 round slices of eggplant that were breaded, deep fried, and put under the broiler to melt some cheese on top. These were placed in a circle on the plate with capellini piled in the middle. The eggplant was very greasy - and the grease tasted old. They were also dark brown at the edges after being fried and then broiled, giving it a burnt taste. The capellini wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything special. Because I was hungry and had a long ride home after lunch I ate most of it anyway, but I probably shouldn't have done that. To be fair, I only have this one menu item on which to base my review, but first impressions are everything.

Flavorful, real good food served by a caring knowledgeable Staff. We had Dee as our Waitress and She took great care of us. Traveling from Michigan's Upper Peninsula to Hilton Head Island we like to stay in Findlay OH. We are thrilled to have found Rossilli's and will return next trip.

I had a business dinner at this restaurant last night. The special was a perch dinner which was one of the best, if not the best, perch dinner I have ever had. Meatballs and stuffed mushrooms were appetizers and they were also wonderful. The atmosphere was very nice and I would definitely come back here again to try more of their dishes. Even the dinner rolls were warm and delicious.

Eight here with some friends for the first time the other day. I am from out of town and our friends eat here quite often. They highly recommended we go there. The food was excellent. I would definitely go back. The portions were very good and prepared very professionally. And the server was excellent as wellThe bread is amazing that they serve before the meal. I think it could become addictive. If you're in town give this one a try.
