Fucking. Delicious.I first ordered a sampler - which contained the most awesome Cornflake Marshmallow Chocolate Chip - which my three year old loved. "Daddy, I love these!" - his words, and I was in trouble when we ran out and I had to wait for them to come back to the store.Needless to say, i also picked up a half-dozen dark chocolate and milk chocolate cookies - the dark chocolate dominated with the sea salt and dark chocolate making this awesome cookie delectable. On top of this - to-your-door DELIVERY.I can't rank Rogue Bakery higher than five, but I would if I could.

When my friends told me to check out Rogue Bakery and swore by the delectable magic of their cookies, I was doubtful. After all, I'm not a huge cookie fan. But, Rogue Bakery won me over with their "Shop Now" tab here on Facebook (cookie fan I am not, but I AM a social media fan!). So I ordered the Comparison Sampler (all without leaving Facebook - nice!) and waited. Not 2 days later did my cookies arrive. Personally delivered to my house in a cute paper bag with an adorable sticker on it. Each cookie was wrapped and stamped with a sticker that told a little narrative about that particular cookie. AND, in some cases, there was a green tag attached to a cookie, asking me to tweet to @RogueBakery if I liked that cookie. (Um, can the social media integration GET any cooler?)And then... I took my first heavenly bite... I tried the Ancho Chili Peanut Butter cookie first and it was pure ecstasy. It was moist (as were all the other cookies) and had a smooth peanut butter flavor with a slight chili punch (genious!). I was impressed by both the quality of the cookies AND by the variety of the flavors/combinations. I can't wait to try more from this innovative bakery!

Despite announcing my salty tooth around town, I have a severe weakness for baked goods (see: my spare tire and reviews for Knead, Piece of Cake, and Sweetwater). At home, I make one kind of cookie: a modified cowgirl cookie with dried cherries, dark chocolate, and sliced almonds. They are delicious but a pain in the nards to make. Hence, I now contract out my cookie making to the delightful Rogue Bakery (if you count an exchange of monies and delivery service as a contract). Since Carl was around town this past weekend (sometimes he's in Cleveland, at craft fairs), I was fortunate to try a bunch of his cookies, yeah, the ones I was gushing about in the Talk thread: Honey Cashew Cranberry, Cornflake Marshmallow Chocolate Chip, and Mascarpone Coconut Candied Walnut. I think these are now my favorite cookies in Columbus. I looooooove the Mascarpone cookie; light and dense at the same time, they melt in your mouth like a biscuit-y shortbread. Since I'm alllll about the chew, the cornflake marshmallow satisfied my sweet mastication cravings. And definitely not the least, the honey cashew were moist, buttery, nutty, and just the right amount of sweet (and I might feel just a touch healthier about myself cuz they contain ground flaxseed).GAHHH. Super Bowl Sunday repentance begins now! (Or, at least after I finish these delicious morsels.)

A well executed concept by such a nice guy! A little novel and a lot delicious! I was excited to have Rogue Cookies delivered to my house for my boyfriend's birthday. They arrived after 6 on Sunday and Carl told me he starts his deliveries around 12. I got the halfsies dozen. Half 'I'm not a snickerdoodle', a surprisingly correct statement and name for the cookie AND half oatmeal cherry pecan dark chocolate or 'ODCP' or something like that. Both cookies were really moist and flavorful. They were perfectly yum until day 3 when they started to dry out. It's ok though, it's unnatural for a cookie to last longer than that. There were also 4 experimental blueberry muffin cookies, which we OK, but I probably would never order that kind of cookie. I did like the creativeness of the cookie and of course, I ate them! I definitely want to try more flavors! I kind of wish he had a small storefront where I could buy an individual cookie to try istead of blindly committing to 6, but I think they're all good enought to eat 6. Oh, and they're kind of small, so I safely deemed 3 as a serving. I hope that's ok!

Bye bye diet. So long MyFitnessPal. Hello comfort and joy during this dreadful winter!Every cookie I've tried has been delicious and I'm sure the other ones that I haven't tried are as tasty as well. So, instead of listing every cookie, just try whatever interests you...and then order everything else!Even the gluten-free vegan cookies (ugh at first I typed gookies..I'm not racist! I'm even Asian!) turned out to be my favorite this time around. I enjoyed the spices in the Ancho Chili Peanut Butter cookies. Some more coriander and lime zest would be welcomed.I live outside 270, and my cookies were personally delivered around 7pm--just in time for dessert!I'll be moving out of state soon, and I'm scratching my chin while thinking about my future mail orders. muahaha.

What a fantastic idea! We ordered the milk chocolate cookies and the cornflake marshmallow cookies - the only reason I did not give Carl a five is because my husband told me my chocolate chip cookies were better. :-) I don't know if he was doing it to suck up, but he doesn't usually say that kind of stuff...I normally make my own cookies, but the idea of cookies delivered to my home was just too good to resist. These cookies are wonderfully chewy with some interesting options. Despite what my husband says, I would totally order these again. Maybe behind his back.

Rogue Bakery might be the first example of "Guerilla cookies" that I'm aware of. Based in Columbus, they primarily serve the Columbus area, though they do deliver in Cleveland one day a week, and will ship their cookies by mail for an additional shipping fee.Cookies can be ordered from their facebook page or a BigCartel storefront. The available menu has 2 basic items that change on occasion: The Experimental Sampler Dozen, containing set flavors like "I'm Not A Snickerdoodle", Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk, and "The Shapeshifter", a sugar cookie made and decorated to the Bakery's whim. (One week it might be cut and decorated to look like a pop tart. The next week? Star Wars characters!) The remainder of the bag will be marked as experimental cookies that the bakery is tested out, and you are encouraged to provide feedback to their Twitter or Facebook pages. (My current sampler came with three experimentals - a rich dark chocolate cookie, an ancho chile peanut butter with a delightful mix of sweet and hot, and a banana cookie with candied ginger). The cookies are big, tasty, and filling - a single package of two cookies is usually enough for a delicious dessert. You can eat them as is out of the bag, or the Bakery will attach a small note to your bag on the best way to reheat the cookie in your microwave for the "just out of the oven" experience. Their other option is called "Cookies with Benefits" - this is a split dozen, 1/2 "Chocolate Liberator", 1/2 Ancho Peanut Butter. The twist is that the entire dozen is gluten-free, vegan versions of the normal recipe! Even better, the "Benefits" dozen comes back with a money-back guarantee. If you don't like them, notify the bakers for a full refund.Once you order, if you go for the delivery option, you'll be given a delivery window based on when your order came in. If you can't be home during the delivery window, they're very good about working with you to either reschedule or to leave your cookies in a safe place for you to retrieve when you return home. Also, if you choose to follow the Bakery's facebook or twitter accounts, keep an eye out for local specials! The bakery is fond of performing "surprise" offers during the week where they'll offer limited samples of new flavors or "5 for $5" packs that will be announced in limited quantities and delivered that day to hungry cookie fans.

What's better than cookies? How about being able to stay in your pajamas and have cookies delivered to your door? As if that's not enough, they're AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the Dark Chocolate Chunk and the I'm Not a Snickerdoodle. I loooove the sea salt in the Dark Chocolate Chunk cookies. On top of all this, the packaging is so cute!

WOW! what a great experience. we ordered cookies two weeks ago. 4 Bro cookies (brownie inside cookie) and 4 cornflake marshmallow. best. cookies. ever. and the pot was ever so sweetened by the fact that I don't even need to leave my couch. what lead me to write this review though, was the fact that I woke up to 'replacement cookies' on my porch this monday. I was baffled, at first thinking it was a sweet gesture by my boyfriend until realizing he was just as confused as I was. i found I had an email from rogue explaining that I had been giving replacement cookies because the last batch were not up to rogue's standards. I LOVED the previous batch of cookies, but these were indeed better. so, thanks rogue, you rock. great customer service.we found out about rogue when we were at a show at ace of cups. had the best chocolate chips cookies there! they were sold out of some kind of cornbread bacon variety (which I still really want to try) but regardless, the chocolate chip ones was great. I drunkely googled rogue on the way home, ordered, and boom. cookies on my doorstep the following sunday.

I bought a 6 month cookie subscription as a gift. The first shipment never went out. I emailed and they did get back to me, however for the rest of the 5 shipments, I had to email and tell them it never got sent out. In my opinion this is poor service, when the person who bought the gift has to remind the store to actually send it out!
