Rodalyn's Kitchen

Two ladies working the truck this afternoon; both were extremely pleasant and friendly! The first thing that drew my eye on the menu was the hamburger. It's called a Longganisa Burger, Filipino sausage patty with fried egg and papaya relish. The flavors were incredible, but I only received the burger for $8 so I was glad I added two lumpia for $3 because, come on, you can no go wrong with lumpia!

Well shoot. My wife and I went to the Franklin County Food Truck Fair and all we got was so-so food. I chose Rodalyn's because I love Philippine food. The server was happy and enthusiastic. The truck is beautiful and the aroma was good. The menu had both familiar and new-to-me choices. I chose pancit bihon. Think fried rice, but with clear thin rice noodles instead of the rice. Yummy firm veggies and a nice, often very garlicky sauce make it a popular dish. But what I got was a little too salty and not enough savory, with shriveled dry pork and not much chicken (was there any?). The noodles, carrots and cabbage were nicely done, but the addition of green beans clashed with the rest. I get why her customers might be puzzled by pea pods, but green beans aren't up to the task of replacing them. The sauce was pretty blah, very one-note. I don't know what it was missing - a dash of sugar? Better oyster sauce? I dunno. I was disappointed. It was fine, and i finished it, but pancit should sparkle. Darn.

Waited an hour to get our food and food was cold when we got it. Didn't bother to come back as it was not worth waiting again. I honestly thought that our order got skipped . The food was just not fresh when we got it.

This Spam Musabi was the best I ever had! (And I've had it in Hawaii before.) The other food smelled so great too. I'm really interested in trying some more offerings.

I have had the Pancit Bihon (stir fried noodles) multiple times from the food truck. Someday I will try some of the other stuff

Great place to stop for a meal, authentic Filipino food truck with a nice indoor eating area.

Stopped by to grab some lunch. Customer service was AMAZING and the food was SO good!!

The food has wonderful flavor. Everything was so good. Try the pandit and lumpia. You won't believe how good it is. We will return

Amazing food! You don't want to miss the lumpia! Delicious rice! Even my picky 5 year old left happy and said it was her favorite food she has ever had. What a great addition to Marysville!
