Riverside Crossing Park Ice Skating Rink

We had a great time at the Riverside Outdoor Ice Rink! While the rink itself is on the smaller side and it was pretty busy, everyone was courteous, which made for an enjoyable experience. The skate rentals were convenient, and it's great that there's no time limit--you can skate at your own pace.The surrounding neighborhood and businesses were beautifully decorated with holiday lights, adding to the festive atmosphere. It was so rewarding to see the kids improve throughout the day! They started out holding on to the wall and taking lots of tumbles, but by the end, they were confidently skating on their own.This rink is a delightful spot for families to enjoy some winter fun, and we'd definitely recommend it for a holiday outing!

We visited this skating rink hoping for a fun family experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be disappointing for beginners.The rink is suitable only for experienced skaters as they do not provide skating aids of any kind. We brought our kids, who are still learning. It wasn't worth anything. Another issue was that the rink surface had about 2 inches of water(on Dec 29th 2024),this made skating even more challenging and unsafe for novices.On a positive note, their staff were very helpful and attentive.

This is really fun to do during the holiday season or just on a cold winter night. It's $12 per person. The last time I went, they have skates up to a size 13, which I wear a 15 shoe, and the 13 fit me. You get to skate with a variety of levels from beginner to expert. I even saw some experts fall. They play fun holiday music and take in the holiday lights. Afterward, you can dine at any one of many downtown Dublin restaurants or grab some cocoa at a local cafe.
