I lived here, moved to Texas, and relocated back to these apartments! Regina, Tammy, Barbara and maintenance are all nice people! I don't have any issues with neighbors or the neighborhood. They have two playgrounds for the kids and we live next to the woods and the Olentangy bike trail which is awesome if you're into fitness or nature. It is so close to Kroger, Target, LA fitness, CVS, Taco Bell, so many businesses. I recommend living here!

My son and I thought about living there. To be honest I didn't care for the staff. They seemed annoyed that I asked to view an apartment. The area itself is questionable. I decided to look elsewhere.

My family and I stopped by to look at apartments for my mother. (I actually flew in from CA just to help her.) There are several signs and flags outside welcoming us and announcing move-in specials. But when we walked into the office, the girl behind the desk was not friendly. When we asked if we could view an apartment, she responded, "first of all, how much money do you make?" We were taken aback by that approach. She added, "you must make at least twice the rental price to view it." I explained that my elderly mother is on social security and we pay for the remainder. Between the three of us, we own 2 homes and 3 cars paid in full. We make well over what the requirements are, and were more than willing to co-sign the lease. She said they do not allow that, so we left and signed a lease at a much nicer apartment complex in a much nicer neighborhood. It was the same price, but had 2 pools, a full fitness center, and friendly staff.

Showe Mgmt runs Riverlodge and treats their tenants like trash. Living here was a nightmare. I was moving to Columbus by myself from another state. After struggling with their rude, condescending office staff for 4 months via phone and email (no place else had availability and they screwed up my paperwork multiple times), I finally had an appt to sign a lease. My cat and luggage were in a motel room while my moving company was on the way with everything I own. I was forced to sign a 60 item condition sheet without being allowed to inspect the unit before they would let me sign and move in.4 months later Covid hit and they ignored all protocols and mandates and sent multiple people into 500 units every 60 days to inspect, literally risking people's lives. No masks. The County and City health departments were overloaded with complaints. No courtesy knock, they just walk in. I had to purchase a secondary lock to protect myself. The noise, cigarette and pot smoke are intolerable and mgmt takes no responsibility for it.Several months into my tenancy they started pushing for payment of rent online. I didn't trust the security of their website so I kept paying via check. Soon they started directly debiting my account by using the routing and account numbers on my check WITHOUT NOTICE. They do whatever they want, just barely within the law.Riverlodge attracts tenants because they have so many apartments and always have availability. But you pay for that by having to live with lazy, nasty ghouls for landlords.

I have lived here a year and and a half. I love my apartment. They we remodeled. I have stainless steel appliances that include microwave and dishwasher. Also marble counter tops. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. It's in a wooded area and I see deer all the time. Its a great place. No intentions of moving. Stephanie L.
