Reynoldsburg Community Center YMCA

Huge, and new, and far far out of my way. But I was kinda nearby today, and, woo. If you live at all nearby please come check it out and use it.Big parking lot, shared with an attached OhioHealth facility. Clean, bright, open plan, lots to do. Weight room and basketball courts downstairs, along with classrooms, lockers, pool, etc. Upstairs are exercise machines and a walking track. You can walk on a treadmill and watch people go in circles, or vice versa. Many cleaning stations. Many bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor pools, and the indoor one has a couple of actual pools (maybe one is for therapy?) Daycare area, another bike room with even more monitors (there are many TVs around in the exercise area.) Big locker rooms. I wish this was closer to me. But maybe I'll get out here once in awhile.

Being brand new, this is a very nice facility. I've visited several other area Ys, but this one is so bright and airy compared to the others. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there's plenty of parking.My family and I have used the outdoor pool, indoor pool, walking track, child watch service, cardio workout area and cycling classes -- all clean and served their purpose as we needed. The outdoor pool can get a little crowded on hot summer days, but that's to be expected with any community pool.The cost of a membership for what you get is reasonable, especially with the discounts on classes (my kids have done ballet and gymnastics so far, at a significantly lower cost than other dance studios or gyms). Based on our experience, I'd encourage anyone interested to check them out!

I canceled my membership on October 10th at the Reynoldsburg, Ohio YMCA, due to broken rowing machines on the second floor and a broken air fan bike on the first floor which were never touched; as well as older adult water fitness ladies permitted to huddle in groups for hours in the swimmer's lap lanes―all reported since April of 2024 yet never corrected. In addition, I am still being charged to this day for a membership I canceled in October. I have addressed this to the Reynoldsburg Executive Director, Rupal Shah, and have received no response. Unsatisfactory Facility. Stop charging me now!
