Great atmosphere, community, and teachers. I see a few reviewers came to one class and gave low reviews for odd reasons. I've been to over 100 Rewild classes.Yes the classes are hard and you will be sweating along with the others in the room. You should bring a small towel to wipe sweat off your face and I like putting a large towel on my mat. You can slowdown and skip poses and nobody judges you if you go at your own pace. The teacher occasionally will assist to help your form which is helpful tho if you don't want touching then just say so it's fine. You also may bump a neighbor here or there or have someone's feet closish to your face in a fuller class. No the teachers are not reading off a script or following a regimented corporate made plan. They are all well-trained and make a general plan for each class but are open to suggestions. You may go and grab a spot say 10 mins before class and it's not always going to start or end on the minute. There may be some small talk then typically class starts with the teacher saying hi and getting into a calm start, more difficult middle, and calm end. Each class is slightly unique and each teacher has a slightly different vibe. They might make a joke, talk about their day, or slip a curse word 1/10 classes. All teachers are equally great so try a few. There is a mixture of silence/lower volume music and listening to teacher and sometimes music a bit louder but I've never personally noticed it being too loud. Most the time I don't even realize music was on I'm just in the moment. I think they do an excellent job managing it all. Parking is relatively easy there is outdoor parking behind the strip mall across the street as well as parking in the garage which you simply get a ticket on your way into the garage which you can scan inside Rewild and then use on your way out the garage for free 2 hour parking. There are bathrooms and cubbies to store stuff and I believe they lock the exterior door during class. You shouldn't bring your phone into the actual yoga area and probably try and limit using it in general when in the studio. There is typically a great entry deal for around 4 classes for $25. The classes are fine for all levels but in the beginning you will just learn the poses by watching the teacher and your neighbors and you'll pick up the concepts as you practice. I believe they rent or let newbies borrow free mats as well. I'm thankful to have such an amazing local business in Columbus. Steve (the owner) has put in a lot of care to build Rewild and these teachers Steve, Mia, Dom, Claire, and others show up every week and give their all. The other members are always friendly and fun to see.

Exploring classpass so I decided to make the trip over to this spot based on hearing a friend mention it. It was a strange experience, and every person I have discussed it with since I visited has had a similar sentiment about their own experience here. The studio itself is beautiful, but everything-- from the instructor's vibe/personality, teaching style, breath control and delivery, to the lighting and music, to the way that class started and ended-- was just completely off for me. I feel like I got an ok ab workout and I definitely sweat a lot, but thats looking at the bright side... otherwise I don't feel like I really got anything else out of it that I am looking for in a Yoga class. Literally 2 minutes in, I was laying there trying to savasana in a bizarrely loud and cafeteria-esque setting thinking I should have gone to my usual studio instead. That feeling unfortunately remained by the end of class.I might try a totally different class with a different instructor here at some point... but I am definitely very apprehensive about doing so, and unless that experience is 100% top notch, this studio will be a pass for me in the future. Will update after I try a different class.y

Rewild is another fantastic option for hot yoga in Columbus. They have a similar intensity to classes at Melt, but a more relaxing atmosphere. And the atmosphere is fantastic. The studio is wood and has this hot woody smell, with lots of plants and kind of an industrial feel. The heat is real, though. I highly recommend both a large towel to cover your mat and a hand towel for your hands and face. Steve and his staff are always really friendly and welcoming and the overall experience is just really relaxing. They also host occasional events with snacks or drinks after a themed class that are really enjoyable. The studio validates parking in the attached garage - I think it's 2 hours free and much more convenient than trying to find street parking.

Love Rewild! I met Steve when he was teaching at my club and he has by far the most challenging hot yoga class I've taken. The studio is beautiful, and there's nothing else like it in Columbus, or really anywhere. This studio is top tier. The atmosphere is serene and inviting, and he makes everyone feel welcome. He always gives a shout out to first timers and truly cares about his students. After one of the classes here I feel so grounded and relaxed. Totally worth it. The radiant heat is amazing and allows for a total reset. Great way to start your week with a Monday night class with him for a reset. Highly recommend.

That was the strangest yoga class I have taken, and I have been practicing for 20 years. The instructor called, Steve gave off a really creepy, toxic vibe. He used inappropriate yoga language and his ego felt out of control. It was not warm, inviting or welcoming. 2 min in, I knew it was bad and should have left then. Do yourself a favor and don't give this man your time or attention by taking his class.

Very odd and uncomfortable yoga experience. No music for most of the class. The instructor Steve did not demonstrate positions but rather starred and corrected form in sometimes triggering ways without consent. Not relaxing in the slightest. I almost started crying. Will not be coming back. Aesthetic studio though!

Too many sweaty people, not enough space. The teacher did not ask consent before correcting your positions. Will never be back.

This class was uncomfortable. Weird energy. I would recommend adding trauma informed and consent practices to your studio. It felt like I was being watched and critiqued and it felt like a deficit-focused experience. That being said, it didn't feel like a "safe" space or an affirming space. Steve was our instructor. Maybe the others are different. Would recommend going to skate zone 71 instead the energy is immaculate there.

Wild Yoga be prepared for a workout because this class was the opposite of gentle. Bring a towel, water and a nonslip yoga mat. This class was not beginner friendly due to the lack of a visual on how to perform all poses and high use of yoga terminology. Aesthetically pleasing studio but if you are looking for a relaxing space this was not it.
