Clean restaurant, clean bathroom, friendly professional service, and good home style food.

I would not recommend anyone eat here. The servers vape in the building and blow the smoke into the refrigerator. Cooks don't wear gloves when handling raw foods such as salads. The staff is rude. If you go in for breakfast, you can hear one of the cooks cussing and yelling every time she gets a new order. It's a very unwelcoming place with a really bad staff. Save your money.

Tasty solid diner food, with good specials, friendly staff, and a great easy to find location. Hard working folks feeding hard working folks!

Stopped in here for lunch with my son, who is currently living in Athens. I flew into the University airport and we drove down here for lunch. I had the special which was baked steak (a large baked hamburger with gravy, potatoes and a roll with a side of green beans).I don't recall what my son or his girlfriend ordered, I just know one of them got fries and they were very good. My meal was a solid 4 stars, service was a little slow, but the place was fairly full and they only had one waitress working (they other called in sick per the waitress). But considering the large crowd and one person in the kitchen (at least I only seen one) they were working like a well oiled machine. I was impressed.I didn't order dessert only because what I seen they had was sadly already sold out so I am sure it would have been just as good as my meal. Keep in mind I don't really like green beans, but the ones that came with my meal were very well prepared and tasty.My roll tasted fresh and didn't seem to be store bought. The mashed potatoes, well they were neither great or bad, the gravy was about the same. The baked steak was well seasoned and done.I would gladly come back here again.

Super solid breakfast , very nice servers . Very local frequented for sire6. Reasonably cheap prices . Had an omelette and potatoes and toast. Very solid. Stuffed french toast was even better . Best iced tea around. Definitely give these people your money .

Ray's is just what we were looking for-local spot where the locals go. Simple menu-good value, tasty home cooking. Western omelette was fresh and filling. The star was the Syd-simple breakfast sandwich of egg,bacon and jelly on toast. Always have to try the unique items on a menu. It was good! The combination works-and we met Syd, the sandwich namesake! Ray's is a good way to start your day.

Great economical breakfast stop. Classic diner fare, though not a long menu. Very easy access eastbound, and not too far out of the way westbound.Cordial staff.

Went for breakfast, fantastic huge fluffy pancakes. Eggs with ham and hash browns great also. Very affordable.

What a great small restaurant just off the highway. Lots of locals who are known by name and preferred dish= always a good sign! Customer service was friendly and the food was delish. We will be back when we travel this road again.
