Rainbow Child Care, Too!

Dan is racistracist. I should have left my review a long time ago. In 2016 I came back to work for Dan and Tamara Marinescu. I was 7 months pregnant. IMy boyfriend is epileptic. I asked Dan and Tamara if he would be able to work with us too because I didn't want him to be alone at home. They agreed. We did all the steps and got him hired onon as a cook/cleaner. But he did everything the teachers asked and more. I was an infant teacher. In 2017, my son was moved to the toddler room. From April-September. It was very stressful because there were some very questionable teachers that would get hired on. i decided to quit in Sept 2017 because I wasn't being paid enough to watch, teach, do arts and crafts, and a ton of paperwork. My boyfriend quit with me. Dan immediately messaged me, and my boyfriend. Called me the B word and my boyfriend a Spic. (He is Hispanic) he said a lot of very horrible things to us because we no longer wanted to work for him. There were multiple times Dan and Tamara came to work arguingarguing, and they prioritised their children over any of their students. I would never recommend this place. They did not follow state laws all the time. They didn't make their teachers clean and sanitize the rooms every night. They cuss in front of children. They would give their kids candy and toys in front of other kids. Their kids could leave their class at any time and sit with the grandmother in the kitchen. It was very unfair to the other kids. It's a very stressful environment.

I would be very concerned with sending my child here if the proprietor Dan is involved in any capacity with this establishment. It is rumored (I was told, not personally verified) that he likes to partake in the enjoyment of several substances that could alter his judgement.If this business is under consideration, I would find out if he is still there. If he is, I would ask for a test to prove care under his supervision is safe.Just some friendly advice.

I wish there was a way to review without any stars but they abuse children, withhold paychecks and neglect children. Multiple children go unfed in the infant room even though their care log will tell you that they've been fed, they'll allow infants to sit in puke/pee ridden clothes, if you work there they'll call you out of your work room time come care for your infant children saying "they're too much to handle" even at 3 months old. They've broken the bones of a little girl who wasn't even a year old and kicked special needs children for not moving on command. They'll tell you they'll cooperate with waiting for title 20 to kick in and help you send in paper work for it but mess it up in purpose every time. My son was in here at 3 months old and my final straw was the day I walked in after working a 9 hour shift to my son sitting in a footie outfit that was caked in rock hard spit up that was obviously from hours before I walked in, he had peed through his clothes and hadn't been fed more than once that day. But the log of his feedings and naps said he had all 3 bottles I sent in and had been changed 20 min before I got in the room. I had requested he be fed 30 min before the end of my shift (5:30p) so that he wasn't screaming or crying on the way home and I actually got IN TROUBLE for requesting a specific time for my sons final bottle, saying it was inappropriate for me to ask that and that I could no longer contact the infant room while my son was in there. I'm also now friends with the mother of the girl who's arms and ribs they broke at less than a year old, they refused to be questioned and had deleted all videos of the footage that day. They're a horrible daycare and I'd never even recommend them to my worst enemy.

Seeing some of the reviews on this daycare, just makes me want to write mine. Yeah, some things aren't the best. But NEVER would any of the teachers harm a child. My child went there from the time he was 6 weeks old until he was 2 when I quit due to personal reasons. My son would barely throw up on hImself and Ms. Kari would change him. Even after I told her she didn't have to because it was barely anything. So I know for sure she would never leave a child in pee clothes or throw up clothes. Every time my child switched classes, he was nervous at first but the amazing teachers made him feel welcomed in each class. His toddler teachers Anna & Ginny, helped make my baby so smart. They worked with him and taught him so much! Every day he came home knowing something new and was so excited to show me. So sad he didn't get to make it to Ms. Tara's class because she was ana amazing teacher too! I witnessed her with the kids she had and wished my child could move up to her class already! Ms. Peggy was my co-teacher when I worked there. She brought in her own stuff and made every day exciting by putting in her all. She taught me how to be an amazing teacher! Also, she was very good with the kids even in stressful situations! Ms. Shannon taught the kids things that I learned myself along with the kids! I also, want to compliment Ms. Becca. Even while doing a lot by herself, she managed to keep a positive attitude and get the things that needed done. She has went over and beyond what a teacher does to teach her class. Looking back, the good employees over take the bad ones. But all businesses have a few employees that make everyone miserable. Just have to know which ones to avoid to make the good employees work well together. I'm so thankful for the experience and knowledge Rainbow gave to my child and every other child I've witnessed basically a baby genius. I get compliments on how smart and advanced my child is and I wish I could take all the credit for that but that's thanks to the amazing teachers at Rainbow!

Tamara is very professional. I have heard many positive things about the center from parents and teachers in the 8 years I have been in Hilliard.

I had visit Rainbow Child Care Too! and I have to say that it is a very CLEAN and SAFE child care center that I had visited, The staff was as if they were family and so polite, my girls did not want to leave there. I really recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for a clean, family environment to have your child taken care of.
