My son and I went for a little treat after visiting the library. We both love bubble tea and I had just learned of Racha due to their Street Food Night Market collab with Aloha Aina. When you first drive up, it's really unassuming. Honestly, I thought Apple Maps had taken me to the wrong spot but I took a chance and glad we did! I didn't realize the two cars in the drive through were parked, so I sat for a minute then realized "DUH" and parked. We walked in and it was really nice and clean inside! They have baked goods in the cases and their tea bar in the front. They also make delicious food in house. I'll definitely have to come back to try a bahn mi or ube brownie! The brown sugar boba and Pioneer also look really good. The employees were super nice and took the time to chat about their night market and who will be collaborating next. The quality and quantity of bubble tea is a really great value compared to other places too.

I wasn't sure it was still in business when I pulled up, but thankfully it was. My kiddo has been dying to try boba and I've been craving one for awhile myself so we came here to check it out. She got brown sugar and I got a lavender Earl Grey with oat milk. Our pearls were perfectly chewy and I loved mine a little less sweet at 75% but my kiddos wasn't overly sweet at 100%, for what that's worth. Both are lovely and the gal that waited on us was very sweet and explained things well. We'll be back!! Next time I'll get food too.

Came here on a friend's recommendation, and it was delicious. Had a good conversation with the nice people who own the place and had a few items before flying out of Columbus back to Cali. Racha Tea is a Vietnamese style Tea and Food spot with a modern aesthetic similar to most tea shops back home in Irvine. However this place also has quite an extensive list of food as well. At first I was worried this place would be another overhyped spot but I'm glad I was proven WAY wrong. They have quite an extensive list of drinks to try, and despite having tons of fruit teas, every single item does in fact contain real fruit.I had the Love Triangle with mango jelly and just kept the recommended sweetness level, as well as the Banh mi Bo (beef), and 2 pork baos.1. Love Triangle - 4/5 Solid fruit tea, reminds me of California teas shops which I consider to be the gold standard of tea drinks. Quite a refreshing fruit tea with real mangos and an excellent level sweetness. I can tell they use the high end tea machines and it's smooth. For the next visit I would probably order less ice than the regular amount in the order.2. Banh Mi Bo: 4.5/5 The beef tastes really good. If you don't know what a Banh Mi is, it's basically a French-Vietnamese dish mixing the baguette with Vietnamese style filling, and in this case it's beef with shredded pickled carrots , daikon, jalapenos, and cilantro. Loved the dish, and I would definitely try their other Banh Mi s. 3. Pork Buns: 5/5. These are off menu and I ordered a few fresh. They are soft, sweet, and gooey on the outside while having a meatball interior with hardboiled egg. Very traditional in it's ingredients and taste, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. While it's larger than the Chinese Baozi that I know, it's size doesn't detract from the taste.. For $3 they are a nice, quick to-go meal, just make sure you to take the wax paper off. Get them if you can to go because IMO these were amazing.Overall, good spot, definitely has good options in both food and drink so add Racha Tea to your bookmarks!

The former Indochine Café turned into Racha Tea. They now serve bubble tea, Banh Mi and some variety of Vietnamese snacks/desserts. To me, the most important is my favorite, Egg Waffle. I think they are the only one so far in Columbus who offer some unique flavor for Egg Waffle, such as ube and pandan. But I love to stick to my routine and got the original.

So, sooo close to five stars. This is a family run establishment. Pre-pandemic, this spot was Indochine, a pho spot run by the same family. Talking with two young ladies running the shop when I stopped in - I'm assuming sisters? - running the pho restaurant over the many years was time consuming, and they wanted to offer something more unique than predominantly pho, so they took the pandemic as a sign that it was the right time to try something new, and báhn mìs and bubble tea was born. I finally had time to stop by but already ate dinner, so I I tried their Fresh Taro Milk Tea. There's not many bubble tea places that ground their taro fresh from the root - most places use powder - so that earns Racha a whole fluffin star along! I love places that offer bubble tea supplements - unique ingredients to add to your bubble tea to set it apart - so along with my extra pearls, I also got pudding. Consistency reminds me of jello, didn't have too much flavor; it wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't adding anything extraordinary. The tapioca pearls had a fabulous consistency: soft and chewy, palatable, and not overly sweet. Two thumbs up. The fresh taro was great - had a different taste than most other bubble tea places, minus a few. Kinda bummed Racha doesn't offer black rice, a red bean paste, something else other to give them a leg up - they're so close, imo. It's probably good I don't live too close by - I'd assuredly be a frequent flyer. I'll reserve that last star for when I get a chance to try one of Racha's báhn mì. Love the way the girls working the counter were personable and proud of their story.

I loved this place when it was Indochine and now I love it because it's my new favorite boba tea spot. They did not close because of Covid. They changed hands within the family and that makes my heart smile. The boba tea it's 100% customizable. You can pick your tea, milk, ice, and sugar levels. It's super delicious and made just the way I like. I ordered the oolong tea with coconut milk, boba, lite ice, and no sugar. The egg waffles are Hong Kong style. Crispy, puffy, delicious, and not too sweet. I ordered the black sesame egg waffle. The Bánh mì is on a crisp toasted roll with fresh toppings. I ordered the Bánh mì Dac Biet. I don't know what else to say but I want another one.I'll be back!

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Columbus, Indochine, turned into a boba and dessert shop a few months ago. Racha Tea Boba and Desserts (@rachateaboba) is now run by the previous owner's children and they've done such a great job opening this shop! It's a very chill and hip spot to grab some boba, desserts, banh mi's and other freshly made snacks. They occasionally host fun events like K-pop birthday celebrations and collaborate with other local businesses as well. Be sure to check out their Instagram page for updates, new flavors and events! Taro milk tea - I think they use fresh taro and not taro powder since it doesn't taste as sweet BYO - lychee flavored green tea with lychee jellyOther notes: The first few times I went, I tried their 50/50 milk tea. It personally wasn't my favorite. Their boba (black tapioca pearls) recipe is OK. My personal fave go to drinks are their taro and lychee green tea. In terms of snacks/light meals, I love their banh mi's and sesame fried dough with mung bean filling!

Big fan, highly recommend. I've been here several times, although every time I pull up I wonder aloud to my partner whether they're open. They always are!Great place for boba tea. I love taro milk tea and theirs is homemade, not from a powdered mix. Not too much ice, not too sweet, and great boba. But then you wander into the menu of banh mi, bao buns, cream puffs, deep fried Thai bananas, and an ever-evolving assortment of sweet and savory bites that you might not find anywhere else. Be sure to walk past the register and see what they have on hand that day.Slowly but surely we're working our way through the menu. The bánh mì đặc biệt (bbq pork, headcheese, pork bologna, and pâté) is legit. The chicken is quite nice. The pork meatballs are outstanding. It's a short trek to get out there, but I'm always looking forward to our next trip to enjoy some more of the same but also try out a few new things.Oh, and the staff are always fantastic! Especially when we have questions about foods we're not familiar with.

The exterior of the building looks like an abandoned fast food joint. The interior is clean and nice. Unfortunately the boba taste old and the Thai iced tea we got was gross. We threw out the drinks after a few sips.
