R & M Bakery

A tiny, classic bakery. Lots of fresh donuts and other pastries at 9am. I asked for a Bavarian creme one, and they made one right then, with a fresh donut. Shot some pudding in, and I enjoyed it at the counter and in my car. Coffee is from a Keurig. Several flavors and sweeteners available. Super friendly service. Very reasonable prices. They had Danishes and buckeyes and other tempting things, but sadly I was running around for the day and they would not have kept in the car. Small lot right there; be careful pulling in and out.

R&M Bakery is open again, under new management! Stopped in for doughnuts this morning, cases were full of doughnuts, cookies, and pepperoni rolls. The new owners, husband and wife team team, were there working and the owner's mom was even working too - love to see a family run business! The doughnuts were SO incredibly fresh! Tons of variety as well like blueberry, cake, chocolate, filled long John's, cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, and so much more. The cookie and brownie case was full and it was hard to make a decision. I went with iced lemon because those are hard to find. A no-bake cookie was my second choice because they looked just as good. Delicious!!!! The bakery was known for their cutout cookies and those same cut out cookies are back! Will definitely be back!

There is nothing better than having a delicious memory from childhood and tasting something 40 years later and it is exactly as you remember it. Recently my sister and I traveled to this bakery, which had a different name when we were younger. The cookies and pastries looked the same, so we were excited. When we tasted them we were elated. Amazing! Great customer service. Happy memories realized.

I always like to support small independent businesses and have been by this place a few times but never the right time until now.Parking is limited to maybe 2 cars out front so I parked across the street. Walked in and felt like I was in an abandon bakery. Most shelves were empty with 2 front small cases containing a variety of maybe 8-12 donuts, limited turnovers, cream horns on display.There was an older lady customer and a young teenager customer in front of me. Figured a good sign. The older woman working the counter was not very nice. Once the older woman customer left, it was the younger girl customers turn. The older lady employee asked how many donuts the young lady would like, the young lady had no clue, this made the older lady employee angry (weird) I can't recall the comment she made to the girl but it was not very nice. I stood back, not to make her feel rushed and listened as she ordered and checked out each donut as a sign of what I should order my own children. The older employee was very short, rude comments, just really nothing nice to say, a real turnoff, "what else", "It's really not that hard to pick donuts" pretty much talking down to this young lady for being indecisive about donuts. Not like there was a line out the door and only so many to choose from. So finally I spoke up and said "as a donut connoisseur" I have to disagree about it not being hard to pick donuts if there are many to choose from, but especially if there is limited to choose from. Not another word from mean older lady and a look of thank you from the young lady. I was ready to leave at this point but really felt uncomfortable leaving the young lady to defend herself to the angry donut lady. I am just really appalled by this persons nonexistent customer service. So it was my turn. No customers behind me. I originally stopped for coffee and a donut but the coffee maker looked like it hadn't been used in years so I passed. A younger lady came out who seemed way more happy with a way more positive vibe and ended up helping me. The angry donut lady grumbled as she went to the back. I was going to pick my girls up from dance afterwards so I tried to choose something they would like and ended up with a dozen. Glazed donuts and cream horns were good. Everything else was Blah. The icing on most seemed like really thick cake icing out of a tub. Just not appeasing at all. Atleast not to me. The donuts themselves were a light fried dough. I really think if they completely changed the icing these could be top notch donuts but all the sugar and thick cake icing were a bit much. We actually ended up throwing away 3-4 donuts Monday morning and that never happens in my house. As for returning - prob not, there are way better places that do not look dingy, dirty and dilapidated with nicer employees. I do feel for the one positive young woman trying to make it work. Please find another job with a more positive coworker maybe even boss. You deserve better.

Great staff. They are always so kind and helpful with orders. Good prices and awesome baked goods. I have loved this place for years!

Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside is not pretty. As a matter of fact neither is the inside. But let me tell you, i visited on a Thursday at 2 PM. The donuts were as fresh as they were when they opened the door this morning. 6 donuts $7.20. A great price for a quality half of dozen. The girl behind the counter was quick and friendly.

The treats here are amazing. They are so delicious and for a very good price. The customer service was great, it was a short wait and the woman helping us was so nice!

I stopped in one day last week and no one was out front. I waited and waited and yelled twice "hello you have a customer" still nothing. I could see people in the back and I could hear a radio or music. I finally gave up and left. Disappointing.

While visiting from out of state, I was lucky enough to sample several of the delicious pastries from this bakery. Wish I could have tried everything they offer. Those cream filled Long Johns with maple frosting are the best. Great family-owned place with friendly service. If you are lucky enough to be a local patron, you know what I'm talking about.

Nice selection of cookies and donuts today. Friendly service. Our family favorite is the iced cut out cookies. Never found an equal anywhere else! I personally enjoy the old fashioned sugar cookies too.
