Waiting for my goat I found these in the case for later.
This is a large goat with my rice and a piece of naan. I was licking my plate like a dog.
Two orders of naan. Boy was it good.

LOVE this place!! Was seriously sad when they were closed for over a year, so happy they're back open. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and stop by! Butter chicken, garlic nan and the samosas with the green chutney are my go to!

Strangely I found this place while searching for Lebanon Bologna. This wonderful place is located in the rear of KV Market and while searching their site for my bologna, I see Punjabi Oven. I have been looking for my favorite, goat curry, without a drive into Pittsburgh. This pandemic has played havoc with my often closed Columbus options. Do they have it, yes. Do they have it at 11am, yes. I was tempted to get a large order as a special which will include rice, naan and something that seemed naan like but I opted for just the goat, 2 orders of naan and a mango lassi. The mango lassi is only a special for online orders but the pleasant young man was granted permission to give me the special. Apparently a mango lassi is a fermented homemade yogurt drink that I told the young man who offered me choices to prepare it his favorite way. I was leery. I shouldn't have been. It was great. The garlic naan came out hot. But I waited until dinner 6 hours from then. Terrific. And my goat, loved loved it. Just the right spice. And while I was waiting I saw 2 prepackaged meals, butter chicken and chilli chicken. Grabbed them, I figured they would freeze well. As you can see from their posted menu, there is a wide selection. Everything was packaged well. My goat even fell over and didnt leak. This is my second favorite place. But this is 30 miles not 200 miles away. Service was terrific and welcoming.

Hidden Gem of Take-out food Mansfield: get away from fastfood take out and try the home-made, flavorful Indian-inspired cuisine tucked into a market on W. 4th Street. The portions are enormous, the dishes are inspiring and prices are very reasonable. The staff was very helpful when explaining each dish and asked questions on my likes and dislikes to offer some dishes I would like. I didn't like....I fell in love. The buttered lamb sent me to heaven! I plan to return to KV Market over and over.

They are wonderful, when they are open. Rated them five stars for the deliciousness of the food, though I probably need to deduct a star for not being open. Not sure what is going on with them, but they are sorely missed!

A hidden treasure trove of delicious Indian food, tucked away in the rear of a neighborhood market (the same one where the scenes of Brooks working in the grocery store were shot for THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, so if you're a fan of the movie, you can tick this one and its commemorative mural off your list and enjoy some great cuisine at the same time). I'm so glad it was able to make a post-COVID comeback. It has limited seating in the market but you can always take your food out. Service is quick and easy and they even have packaged food available to buy and take home. If you're a fan of Indian dishes, don't miss this. It's hard for me to keep from ordering half the menu when I go.

Their Baaaack!!!!! Great Indian Cuisine. So glad that they could reopen. Get in on supporting this amazing family-operated and AUTHENTIC Punjabi-style fare. I've been to other towns in Ohio and stopped in at random Indian restaurants but this is hands down the best. Don't let this Jem slip away.
