My son attended this place years ago and he and many other young boys were kicked out of the program for being boys. Apparently, wrestling , as masculine young boys will do, is unbecoming behavior. Also, we were told that our sone did not fit in and we must take him to the Dr to see what was wrong with him well since then he has been diagnosed with autism and extremely mild form and no where else that he was at had any issues with him so the problem is the owners. So if you want to take your son to a place where they must act a certain way and fit some predetermined mold take them here and get ripped off for sub par care. I want mynson to me masculine personally and also after we left there he was so much happier. Goddard was 1000 times better..go there . This is a common problem with the owners at Polaris and Pickerington, they have no business running a childcare facility. I feel sorry for families that have to deal with these people.

Consider the following: After reporting a concern only to the Owner and Director via private email, my wife and I were scheduled to talk. I asked up front in the email to be provided their policy and procedure for reporting such issues but never got any response, only essentially reprimanded once in the meeting for how we reported it. The owner expressed not wanting to be bothered with such things insisting its her employees we must talk to. All members of the staff expressed push-back that our child's story was unlikely, was essentially fabricating this, or "it could never happen". No irrefutable proof was presented except the other child never got a timeout that day. Having been what felt like being surrounded by an emotional storm of remarks and feeling belittled, I was questioning their motivation for treating us in this way. Seemingly more focused on schooling us as the parents of the victim than truly investigating or assuring our child and others were 100% safe. The staff stated there had been such an issue before, yet why would the approach be to squash our feelings on the matter never to think that our daughter was being truthful? Shortly after that we lost a family member so I informed the office we would be out of town on bereavement, but to my surprise the staff insisted we must pay for the services even while out of town. I was of course upset over this, but went on my way. What really twists my shorts was the Owner of this facility sent us an email that very evening stating since we are not getting along and she felt we will complain all the time she was terminating our two children from their program. Jumping to conclusions, she stated our "vacation" did not fall under their allowed time away. I sent her a redirect on her stance in regards to our bereavement status, but insisted we still must pay. Mind you, we are paying customers here and the tuition is as much as a big mortgage each month. Again, what are they thinking here? I feel once we get this issue actually investigate and engage proper agencies to review this, there will hopefully be a change in policy / attitudes towards parents of children at their facility. We appreciate the curriculum structure and the teachers, but this owner / leadership is lacking in tact towards parents concerns. They tend to terminate instead of resolve matters then arrogantly keep the cash from deposits.
