Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

This was my first time trying Popeye's. I got the 10 piece family meal with the classic chicken and got the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes as sides. I must say that the drive thru line was horrendous. It was an incredibly long line that did not move at all for 10 minutes. I actually left to do my shopping at Walmart next to the restaurant and checked back later on the line. The line had moved, but was still long. I decided to go inside and order instead.The other customers waiting in there had been waiting a long time. One person more than an hour! I was a bit apprehensive about ordering, but he said the indoor rush has calmed. Thankfully, I received my order to go after 10 minutes. I mentioned to the worker that I came in due to the long line outside. She apologized and said that they are severely understaffed and that is what is causing the delay. There were only four people staffing the kitchen that day.As for the food, I would get the chicken again, but it was not the best I ever had, obviously. I did not care for the biscuits or sides. The biscuits seemed like they has not risen enough, pretty flat. The mac and cheese was not what I expected and really had no flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy were nothing to write home about. The chicken was nice and crispy and I appreciated the kindess of the staff.

Don't use the drive thru. They repeatedly have messed up orders. Go inside and check it before you leave.

Much better in Jan 2023. Went right through the drive-thru and got fast, friendly service. Food was great. Mac and cheese a little clumpy but overall nice recovery from opening day.

Replacing Ye Olde Burger King , Dublin welcomes a far better chicken place - it's polished. It's new. They're no doubt going to have issues. I went for a late lunch - 1:30pm, line was already around the building. It took maybe ten minutes - so they clearly have a solid cadence (and hopefully this indicates their future of being a solid performer, unlike that BK they replaced?)I love chicken sandwiches - and Popeyes beats hate-chicken easily. Open now. Check them out.

Surprised that the reviews for Popeyes are so low. This is the location right by my house and it's bright, clean, and the staff are super friendly. Nina helped me the other day and went out of her way to be so kind that it literally made my day on a rainy afternoon. Love their biscuits, fries, and tea and my so loves their chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes. Definitely recommend!

I love this new location!! It is just not worth the price anymore for fast food. I got the new spicy ghost pepper wings & they were amazing!! It was very clean inside & nicely updated with cool designs. The staff was incredibly nice! But again, there is only so much you want to pay for this level of food.

What are they doing at this location? I'm now at about 15 minutes waiting for my drive thru order. They take your payment then tell you to pull forward.....still waiting and they have my money. I've had plenty of Popeyes and never experience this. Seems to be an issue for this location only.

Service is typically good for fast food. The food is what you would expect. Only complaint is don't know I've ever gotten hot fries from there

All Popeyes locations are bad, but this NEW location is horrible. You would think a new location would staff up, but NO, 1 hour long drive thru's and lobby is closed. Absolutely pathetic and uncalled for. I should not have come to this restaurant.Associate went to dumpster area to smoke.

The chicken is good at Popeyes, but is it worth the drive through wait? Every time I've visited, it's a nightmare. Can someone explain why it takes so long? Understaffed? Help Yelp!
