Plate's Meats Over Rice

Food was great. Simple, hearty, great tasting, fresh, and good portions. Pricing is a little confusing... bordering on misleading.... But I am off my Adderall right now so it may be me.My bottom line is that I would pay what it cost without so much effort put into trying to hook people in with an $8/plate marketing gimmick. This place is just starting out and the owner could use marketing help. Their product is great and needs to be communicated as a premium value not cheap bait. They would also benefit from more decor in their spotless dining room. It feels too much like a cafeteria. I'll be back for for the food for sure... that's the main thing and they are getting that right. I'll recommend it to others if they can figure out the pricing, and bring my family if they can bring get some atmosphere. Best wishes to the owners.

Tried the lunch special of chicken over rice. It didn't look appetizing, was lacking flavor and didn't smell fresh. The price was pretty cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. This place is a no for me. I don't see them lasting.

I can't say enough good things about this food!!! I ubered it here so you never know if it will be correct. But it was. $8 per bowl I got the chicken, gyro meat and the shrimp portions were huge this is an outstanding price for what you get!! I did add extra shrimp at a cost of $2.50. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The rice tho.. so good. Their house sauce and spicy sauce are delicious. Like I'm happy dancing off this good over here. If you haven't tried it. Try it!

Firstly was overcharged under the ruse that all plates were 8$. Got home and found a severe lack in meat on the plate and a hair on top. Last time I'm coming here for sure. Highly disappointed.

I like that the name tells you exactly what it is, you pick a meat and they slap it over rice. It was as fast as fast food and a lot better.

When I went it was brand new. The staff was really nice but the food was very bland. Hopefully they've made some changes. But I plan on returning to give it another try since I live so close.

This place is delicious! Big portions, great flavor and excellent prices. Great option in the neighborhood.

Food is absolutely disgusting. I mean maybe it was my bad for eating there but for a grand opening nothing was grand about it. 0/10 nasty asf
