We live and hour and a half away and eat here almost every time we're in the area. We ordered 3 whole subs, a half sub and a parlor salad. We were told 25 minutes for pickup. Got there in 30Minutes, had to wait another 20 for our order, then when we got the salad, it is seriously a tiny box of shredded lettuce with cheese on top. For $3.95 it wasn't even enough to feed one person. We just spent almost $50 to feed 4 people and after today's experience and the cost for the quality and quantity, we will never be eating here again. After eating here for over 20 years, we are extremely disappointed.

Definitely a small town gem. I'm not sure if you can appreciate it as much if you're not from the area originally. The ambiance is 80's pizza joint. There are some coin op machines in the back with some television screens playing sports. The staff is usually all local high school youth, which is as you would expect, attentive and friendly but perhaps not as polished as you'd expect in some other locations. The food is what really is special, in my opinion. The pizza is really not like many others i've had. The crust is dense with good char on the bottom but remaining soft just under the sauce. I've thought about the sauce before. I'm sure it's also pretty simple with some finishing touches. It's very thick tomato puree with a good amount of oregano and basil. Toppings and cheese are evenly and generously applied achieving a good char on them at the highest points. I'm also a big fan of the fried cheese sticks which are battered instead of breaded. The menu offers other items that are less amazing in my opinion, yet still fairly solid, in particular the oven baked subs. The place is the same/as good as it was twenty years ago when i went there as a kid and hung out there in high school. I always make it a point to stop in whenever i am in town. If very solid, classic pizza is your thing, i recommend giving Pizza parlor V a try. I think you won't be disappointed.

I pick up food from this place because my family likes the pizza but I'm appalled at some of the things I've noticed while there. First thing that was very odd, the kid that was stirring up the big container of pizza sauce just stuck his whole arm in the container & stirred with his own gloveless arm instead of using a spoon. Also, as I watched my sub (burnt) come out of the oven, the kid working there took a dirty knife to cut it, but he so thoughtfully decided to wipe the gunk off the knife first, right on the trash can. He wiped both sides of the knife directly on the rim of the trash can so the old food could fall right into the trash, and then immediately cut my sub with that knife. The dining area has trash all over the floors and tables and the group of kids that work there do not wait on the customers that are dining in at all. I had to go behind the counter and refill my own drink because the service was non-existent. This place is a health department's nightmare. The pizza is different than most places, kind of tough & chewy & my family likes it so one star goes to that. It would be a huge improvement if they could get some training for the employees.

From the great reviews on here we went hoping for some great pizza. We got our drinks and had to go to the counter for a refill because we got ignored. The cheese bread sticks were good. The pizza was nothing but bread and sauce. It was piled on so thick that it congealed on the pizza. Needless to say this was very disappointing. Upon asking for a to go box for almost a whole large pizza that will not get eaten we were given a box that fit four pieces. Maybe we got a bad night but this was definitely not even a D rated pizza.

Ordered from here tonight. The service absolutely sucked. I ordered2 thighs, I got a breast and a leg lol. I also got a salad with no fork. When I called back to complain i was told I had to ask for a fork and that the delivery driver didnt know I was at a motel room...uhm really..where did he bring my food?? So he brought me my fork and thighs and I said thank you and the punk jerk glared at me and didn't say a word back!! These people need to learn customer service skills for real! I will not b ordering from there again! Ever. They also serve potato wedges and have no ketchup. Smh. What a joke

I grew up in Sugarcreek Ohio and I always looked forward to pizza parlor pizza. Before the McDonalds and all the other places there was the pizza parlor. I love everything about the pizza parlor and I like most that they've remained consistent and still serve the pizza I remember eating in the 80's when I was a kid. There subs are pretty darn good too. The pizza dough is pretty dense it's not a light and airy crust, but one that has got some chew to it. They cut the pizza in strips rather than the traditional triangular shape. The sauce is very rich and flavorful and brings a lot of bold flavors. Simply, pizza parlor is the best pizza in tuscarawas county. Pangrazios in urichsville is a close second with park street pizza in Sugarcreek coming in at third.

Wait a minute. Are they back open? If so I'm shocked as it wasn't very good pizza and the owner was rude. (I haven't been there since 2007ish)

Came here from 45 minutes away. Pizza was done on time and smelled delicious. Started to eat and my fiancé found a hair in his slice ... failed to tell me.. I started eating my slice and found an entire hair in mine too! Absolutely disgusted and had to immediately tell the rest of my family to throw theirs away because obviously someone brushed their entire head over my pizza. Just great.

Be prepared for a VERY long wait. We were there for an hour and finally walked out since they still hadn't made our pizza during that time. We only got 1 refill during our time there and when we left no one even apologized about losing our order. We used to enjoy the pizza here but I'm afraid we won't be back or recommending anyone else to eat there either.
