Free pickleball courts! It wasn't too busy when I went. The park seemed well maintained and I will definitely come back to play again. You have to bring your own rackets and ball

This is a nice park that offers two shelterhouses with picnic tables, tennis courts, basketball court, and a large baseball diamond with bleachers. There is a large playground with climbing options, tunnels, and slides. Nearby is a smaller area for litter kids, including baby swings, shorter slides, and a ladybug toy to bounce in. A third area offers additional slides, a zip ride, and more climbing options. There is also a large row of traditional type swings available. It packs a lot into its space, which is across from a row of shops and an elementary school. Street parking is available on 1st Ave, with some on Hilo Lane, though you'll want to read the signage because it appears that part of Hilo is reserved for the school during certain hours.

This is a small park across from Yarn It and Hanerdashery. I was there for a meetup city yarn group. There was a lot going on! T ball, kids on scooters, and lots of families. There was even a birthday party going on . It's nice to see so many people outside.

Pretty big park for being in town. We were here for the playground. And I got the sense of "good-not-great" from Baby K. I thought she would like it more. Several playsets for varying ages, though leaning toward the young end. Lots of shade, and benches for the parents. Rubber and astroturf surfaces. Ballfields, shelters, a building that probably has bathrooms, and more. Street parking around the edges. Dining (and coffee) across the street.

Pierce Field is nestled in the corner of Northwest Blvd and W 1st Ave. It's a neat little park and is always clean and well-maintained. I most often use it to play tennis, but there is something here for everyone! The park has quite a few amenities:- Baseball Field (including dugouts and some bleachers)- Two tennis courts (note that the nets are only put up once it gets warm outside)- Basketball court with two basketball hoops- Tetherball pole- Lots of playground equipment- A few pre-drawn "pavement games" (such as hopscotch and four square)- Picnic tables in a sheltered areaThere is no dedicated parking lot, but there is ample street parking on 1st Ave right outside the park. Also note that there are several signs saying that dogs are not allowed in the park!

Located in the wedge between 1st Avenue and Northwest Blvd and bordered by Hilo lane and Oxely Rd in Grandview, this tight sports park blends in with the village around it. Kind of an urban flair actually, reminiscent of blacktop parks in Eastern cities. It is the grassy space in front of the row Luck Brothers and Marshal's sits in and opposite the elementary school of which the park seems a playground. Inside its unique shape and novel angles are many faculties; baseball fields, a shelter house, places for picnics. A small two basket ball court parallels Hilo, and two well made tennis courts sides to the south. Great place for athletics or a quick walk, Pierce is not a nature watching area. One prohibition here is that dogs are not allowed, although many residents walk theirs at the thin grassy boundary. I think it is a nice looking space, great for a walk through after eating somewhere in Grandview.

Arranged to meet a friend here to play some hard court tennis. Unfortunately No Nets up on the courts!!! How is that possible? Not impressed.

Great park and even better after the installation of new playground equipment. But its a real bummer that we can't bring our dog here anymore, especially since she can hang out with us at Luck Bros Coffee.
