Philgeddaboutit

Serving inside Hey Hey Bar & Grill, as far as I knew, Philgeddaboutit was running their Philly steak show via a food truck. It's been awhile since hearing their name, so I was happy to get a chance to try out their Philly-style cheesesteaks when I was at HHBG for an OSU game. I ordered The New Guy, subbed chicken for the steak. The cheese whiz mixed with the grilled chicken chunks and green peppers and onions was primo; creamy and dreamy. I didn't even bother with their special sauce; it was innecessary, imo; the sweetness wasn't a good ting-to-yang thang. And the bread is so so sooo good: Made fresh in-house daily, soft and pliable, a great carrier mechanism. My only suggestion would be to make the sandwiches more compact. Mine basically all fell apart as soon as I attempted to unwrap some of the white sandwich paper. Lost a little bit of my hyped anticipation. All in all, I'd definitely get a cheesesteak from Philgeddaboutit again next time I'm at Hey Hey.

This little sandwich place (and I do mean small) is located within Town Center Pub in Grove City. There is a small window to order from in the back of the pub hallway. Easy to miss and no signifier besides a menu on the ledge. Thank goodness we weren't planning to stay and eat as we didn't know it was in a bar. We ordered online and picked it up. There was a slight wait because the pub was packed with patrons watching a football game. After about 15 minutes more of waiting we got our order. We got 6 wings and a sandwich. The wings were large and surprisingly filling. They were good. The sandwich was on the greasy side. I tasted a bite (it wasn't mine) and thought meh. The food was okay. I can see it being a good addition to the bar as people drink alcohol they can order greasy food to sop it up.

Picked up some wings and ravioli. Double fried garlic, wiseguy and smoked Georgia peach. All were really good and flavorful. I will be going back soon to try other sauces.

Best Italian Beef for miles and miles! Loved the boneless chucks of chicken, excellent house made blue cheese and ranch dressings and one of a kind in a good way fried pickles! I really liked their haystack approach to house made tater tots and after seeing their nachos will definitely have to try!This pop up kitchen is in Town Center Pub, which is a fun spot with Karaoke on Tuesday night.

Went to check this place out tonight. It is located inside of Parker's Tavern. The employees of the tavern our very inattentive to any of the seated customers at the tables. The food business is totally separate from the bar and you are supposed to know that the food portion is in the rear of the bar and run out of a window. I would suggest that some type of signage be put up to let customers know that. On to the food. We ordered the Mafia Mozz which are huge chunks of mozzarella coated with a batter and deep fried. I'd say that they weren't cooked enough to even soften the the cheese, these came with a small cup of tomato sauce with I believe Parmesan on top. Sauce was great. Now for the star of the show. The New Guy cheesesteak. It was chopped steak, grilled onions, peppers and cheese wiz. Everything was fresh and delicious. You get a small container of BabyFace sauce which seems like maybe an aioli for dipping, it had a slight kick to it which was phenomenal. Definitely food wise worth the trip. And now I just realized I didn't take a picture of the sandwich. Duh!!!
