Pete's Hot Dogs

Good local spot. Hot dogs good price and people are nice. It's a good welcome to America experience

I decided to give Pete's Hot Dogs another try, the past few visits have been such a huge disappointment. Not sure what's going on here, training, leadership, or just work ethics....but they are definitely NOT the best Hot Dog restaurant in the area and they have went down hill over time.I love my hot dogs with chili, slaw. Onions and mustard BUT I have to leave mustard off my hot fog because even when you tell them VERY LIGHT on the MUSTARD or just a THIN LINE of MUSTARD they over for it...it's like they do it on purpose. It's NO LONGER an oversight in my opinion.....I am going to stop wasting my hard earn money at Pete's.

Great hotspot in Ripley! Around the inside of the building has different local sports teams and activities that students participant in sponsored by Pete's. Food was also very good and decently inexpensive. Loved to see how this place not only makes great food but also plays an amazing role in helping out the community. The ice cream is yummy too. Definitely give it a try!!

Pete's is a dinky little place along the road; I almost missed it. Inside are a few tables and a counter. There are actually many menu options besides hot dogs, but since they seem to be the local favorite I gave them a shot.They're good dogs, but I don't get the fascination- there was nothing unusual about them. Nice fresh bun, decent meat; a little skinny, and not particularly tasty. Not bad, just plain. I had the special: two dogs, chips, drinks. I got both with chili, shredded cheese, and ketchup. The chili, now, that was good. Presumably homemade, and added a great flavor to the dogs. The whole combo, though, was more of a lunch or a snack than the dinner I hoped for.Prices are amazingly low. There is plenty to choose from on the menu- burgers, tacos, etc. Service is good and friendly. Not sure I'd go out of the way to eat here, but if it was in my neighborhood I'd drop in once in awhile.

If you're reading this and you're not from Ripley, then I must tell you to go try Pete's. They are a community staple not just for their basic, but delicious food, but because they give back to a community that needs it. If you walk into this mix of a soda shop and a concession stand, you'll see walls lined with softball teams that Pete's has sponsored throughout the years. Many of my more athletic friends have a spot on that wall which makes the restaurant personal and nostalgic. I always get the chili chips and cheese when I go, because it's hard to find nachos when you're not at a Vikings game. I also get Zuul's because you can't find that in town outside of the fair either. Best part? Your total is less than $8 for almost any full meal. It's cheap, yummy, and supports a local family business.

Pete's is the perfect, little restaurant that isn't trying too hard. It will fulfill all of your hunger needs. Their pork bbq sandwiches are to-die-for. But, please, if you go here, get their cake batter milkshake. My boyfriend likes their caramel milkshake, also. So good!!!!!

Super quick service and friendly staff. The food was good- this is a great little hole in the wall restaurant!

This place was an unexpected find. They have really good food and friend staff. Service was great and it will remind you of your youth when you have one of their hotdogs. Such a nostalgic place.

I was greeted a young gentleman named Gabe Comer, he was so polite and the glizzys here were astonishing. They were so big and tasted so good. An easy 5/5 for me
