Penn Station Subs

I ordered and paid for a medium ff and got a small, they weren't great cold little sticks, Aug I got my mom a large grilled artichoke sub,her favorite and she tllok half and started eating it.. there were so many sharp ends she couldn't eat then. This is half a sub and look at the picture of all she couldn't eat...

The sandiches are good but I was grossed out while watching the guy portion and cook the meat. He took the raw meat and chicken and placex them in a?bowl to weigh, he did not wash the bow or put it somewhere to be washed, he just kept using the same bowls. He had one for lunchmeat, and two others (one for chicken and one fpr bedf). however he forgot which one was which and mixed them up (cross contamination). The bowl he was using fpr beef has litgle bits of beef starting to dry out, yuck! I asked him how often he washes the bowls and he said , "every once in a while during the day."To me that is not sanitary, they should work a bit harder to not have this happen.I don't believe I will be gping back to that particular store. I do not know of that is a common practice in most of the stores but I do not think it is sanitary.

This is my favorite sub shop in WV. (That's not some little mom and pop shop) My brother took me to a penn station after a long weekend for my first time and, it was great! So when I drove by this one I had to stop. I always get a steak sub when I go. Today I tried the pizza sauce for the first time...., now..I'm not sure if this is a wv thing or what but this isn't to bad. I would definitely try it if I were you, but I think I'll stick to the original my self. Staff at this place was friendly and I got my food quick. Can't ask for much more than that.

I really can't say anything bad about this place. I've enjoyed it every time I go there, and everyone is so friendly. They have amazing fries, and I love the philly steak with pizza sauce.

Good sandwiches, great place to grab a quick bite. Fresh lemonade is great! The menu was decent and as far as a quick sub goes these are pretty good quality.

First time eating here, it's expensive but the food is good; however, no personality from some of the employees. It seems there not too thrilled to be working. Maybe a smile to make your customers feel welcomed would help.

I go here for take out from time to time. I have never received bad service, and I like their pizza sub. You usually get your food pretty quickly.

I was visiting relatives in town and first found Penn Station on my phone one evening. I was exhausted and just wanted something quick for takeout. I ended up returning another time because i was hooked.It's a sub shop and they have a good selection of subs. They also make fries from fresh cut potatoes on-site. The fries were great - they were not soggy grease filled limp slop. They were crisp without being overcooked. The dining room looked comfortable with a good atmosphere. I took out my food to eat elsewhere but was tempted to just sit and devour it there.The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I'll definitely keep them in mind next time I visit town.
