Pizza - not bad

Rude staff. Weight on balls is limited to 8lbs, even for my almost 70 year old parents. My dad had to stop playing because he couldn't use a lighter ball. The place smells terrible. There is no free water at the bar. The whole place is so ghetto. I would never come back.

Penn Lanes. Recently purchased by new owners. Same casual bowling atmosphere without the fancy bowling prices. New ownership and ops managers are trying to update TVs, games, scoring systems, food, and much more. Penn Lanes is a great family place for all ages as well as a great place for friends to hang out. If you want a fun afternoon give it a try. You will not be sorry. Colony Lanes was our favorite but the new team is going to the next level. Enjoy their great new pizza and friendly staff too while you are there.

Located near the Delaware County Fairgrounds, this place is straight out of the 60's and in dire need of an update. The restrooms are very small and the scoring machines are antiquated from the early 80's. They are definitely not Y2K compliant, but I guess who cares what date it is? An overhaul is in desperate order, but the lanes are in good condition, so that's a plus. I currently bowl on a league here for $13 a week. It's the same price as in other leagues I've participated in, but with less perks. One thing I do like is that it's never crowded on league nights. They do serve food and bottled beer for reasonable price. The food is your typical bowling alley food, and made and served on demand. It's a very small operation and definitely has that small town feel.

Went here when our normal place was having leagues. The price wasn't bad $50 for 5 people, 2 hours of bowling, a pizza and a pitcher of soda. The pizza wasn't terrible. The guy working the counter decided at some point that my group was the group who was yelling profanities. The man approached us and told us to keep the profanity down, that there were children around, the owner heard us and didn't like it. I will say the man was nice about it. My issue with the situation is this.. it wasn't our group who was yelling the profanity it was however the group next to us. The next issue I have is for the rest of the time, when I would look around there was the manager just staring at us. It was disappointing to have a grown man stare at us all night. Pictured are the men mentioned. The guy on the left was the messenger not really his fault. The guy on the left is the one who decided to spend his evening watching us!

Penn Lanes, new management spruced it up a bit, thought taking lane tables and chairs out was a good idea but sadly it just doesn't work for league bowlers. Well, I think the regulars like it but .... League in the summer is every other Friday supposed to be mixed doubles but not really. Bowling is supposed to be fun but this set up is stressful to someone who has been bowling at better houses.

Love this place! A couple of friends and I wanted to go out to bowl but for a reasonable price. I believe it's a family-owned/Husband-Wife owned business. The food was amazing, I definitely recommend getting a cheeseburger. The lady does all the cooking and makes it to order. My friend had a cheeseburger & I had a bite, I loved it so I ordered my own. Then another friend had a bite of mine and he ordered his own! It was not packed, and we had a blast! I definitely recommend this place and I'll definitely be coming back!!

What can I say. Bowling alley food. If you're hungry and there's nothing else around I'm afraid you'll have to eat this costly mess. I didn't know how bad you can messed up onion rings.
