Paulie Gee's Short North

D-licious! Daughter and I chose Paulie Gee's for an early-ish dinner on a Saturday. First time visit for me and I was impressed! We split a salad--Out Together and it was great. Very tasty pizza, chosen by daughter who ordered the Donna. The addition of the balsamic vinegar swizzled in top was excellent. We had bottled sodas to drink.Our waiter was super helpful. The restaurant was full but we got the last table without a wait. Cute "Italian restaurant " ambiance, a little dark but cozy and buzzing with conversations.Street parking for us. We lucked into a spot right in front but you may need to allocate a few minutes to find parking.

It's New Year's Eve and I'm kicking off the new year with some pizza! I'm giving this pizza spot another try. I ordered the Hellboy and Rickey Too. Fingers crossed they are good. I love the vibe tonight. They are playing oldies which was great while I waited for my pies to cook in their brick oven. Nothing like sitting in the dim lights and listening to Dancing Queen and Betty Davis Eyes. Even though I'm ordering to-go, my server was super friendly and helpful. I find it refreshing to encounter friendly servers.These pies hit the spot! The crust was so good. It had a nice bite and chew to it. The flavors were fresh and spot on. Glad I gave them a second chance.

Finally tried Paulie Gee's after quite a few folks have suggested it on our quest to find some great pizza in OH. Did NOT disappoint! The Square was phenomenal, flavour, quality, and texture all came together for a perfectly scrumptious slice. We also got the hellboywhite pizza, again fantastic and fresh ingredients... but it really was the pizza square that will keep me up at night till i get another!

This place has he best vegan pizza in town tow hands down. Best bread. Wood oven cooked . Delicious vegan ricotta cheese and all the toppings. 10/10 and get there Wednesday's. They have 3 pizzas for $39

My friends recommend Pauli Gee's a few times, so I've been wanting to try it for a while now. We dined in on a Wednesday night, and there was a bit of a wait, but there are two small tables at the front of the restaurant that we were able to wait at. My friends and I ordered 3 pizzas for $39 because that was their special. It was definitely a deal! I love all the unique types of pizza, and they even have an option on the menu where the staff chooses what pizza you get! They also label some of the pizzas as "the staffs favorite" or the "chefs favorite", which is nice when you can't decide which to order! Can't wait to come back.

Quality Pizza shop in the Short North. Great spot for a date and nice ambiance. Specials do not apply to carry out, but they have some great specials throughout the week.

I have dined in and taken out at this restaurant and the pizza never disappoints! It takes me back to being in Italy which I love. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is so cute and drinks and wine are great! Service is good and they also have great HH specials weekly!

I had never gone to Paulie Gee's before, but it was recommended by my boss when I was in Columbus. I split the Donna, and it was probably the best pizza I've ever had in my life! The hot honey was such a good addition that I never would have considered. It was easily accessible from the hotel we were staying at as well! My only caveat was that our waitress was a little sparse. However, it was a weekend night so I totally understand.

Soooo good. Very expensive but honestly worth it. We got a pizza and two sides of ranch for $40, we did pick up but the dining room looked awesome and we definitely want to come back.

I went to Paulie Gee's for the first time tonight but I e been to many other pizza places in Columbus before. I can co directly say this is the best pizza in Columbus.THE CRUST! Its chefs kiss perfect. It has good structure but also gives a little and has good ratio with toppings. Wood fired adds a delightful taste and crisp.One of the people I dined with got a deep dish and I was very impressed with this as well- super crispy cheese on the edges, and well incredible. I'm not sure if I'll do a deep dish or a traditional next time because they are both so good.The only criticism I'd say is we ordered the Caesar salad and it really was quite spicy and I didn't expect it. I wish they had more sides and maybe even a dessert menu but they do pizza extremely well so I'm glad they at least do that and offer a lot of variety in terms of toppings and crust type!I've heard to get the true deliciousness you should done in and not take this to go! I'll be thinking about this pizza for a long time!
