Pastimes Pub & Grill - New Albany

Every time we visit this place, the food is absolutely delicious! They have such a wide variety of dishes to choose from. While you wait for your food, you can enjoy a few drinks or watch whatever game is on TV. The bar staff is super friendly and always ready to help. The bar has a casual, dive bar vibe, and the prices for food and drinks are very reasonable, which makes it easy to come back again and again!

Bottom Line Up Front: Great neighborhood sports themed pub with some good food. One of the nicest bartenders I've met in Columbus greeted me when I hit the bar- and like all good ones, she knew the On Tap menu by heart. I took her advice over my ideas and decided on a foray into the unknown for me: Shiner's Summer Shandy. A full pint of an ice cold, tangy, tart lemon beer that took me by surprise. Not my usual by any means, but I liked it.This was around 4PM on a Sunday, so the place was about 3/4 full of folks 30 and over, 1/2 the group was over 40. So if you're looking for a place to steer clear of a younger crowd and watch a game or 6 with a tall cold one- and you're near New Albany, here's a place I can recommend. + friendly staff+ parking+ good food, full menu+ food and drink specials

This was a good find...It is kind of a nice local bar. It has TV's to watch sports but it could still be kind of a chill place to hang out. The service was awesome. The atmosphere was chill. The food was great. Sunday is their wing special, so we had 12 wings as an appetizer - very good wings. I had the cheese steak with onion rings, which were really good (they actually give you a lot of onion rings). Wifie had the club sandwich with fries, which she really enjoyed. This was a great experience for what it is - a local bar with bar food which they do well. This is not a fancy dinner place, but well worth the trip in.

Cool bar that seems to draw a younger crowd than Double Barrel. They are at separate ends of this strip mall and we have only been here after being at DB and they have always been busy.The Pretzel Bites are amazing. They may be air-fried or something that makes them taste so good.

Fun great place for tv and entertainment, cheap food and drinks, quick service great environment.

A staff greeted my friend and I as we sat down at the bar. We asked for a menu so we could order some wings and fries. The food was hot and delicious. I definitely recommend any past times, as I have been to all of them in Columbus. They all have great service.

We've been to Pastimes several times and at different times/days. Each time the food and drinks are consistent, friendly and just what we were looking for. Everything we've ordered has been great and I would classify as above average for bar food not to mention super reasonably priced with great specials. They have a huge patio where service remains just as great yet has the added benefit of being a bit calmer than inside. The biggest advice I would give though is to be mindful of when you decide to go. It's like the old saying goes "nothing good ever happens past midnight" . It can get a bit rough.
