Park Street Tavern

This is my place. Every time I come her it's so busy but we still get the the best service. I came on a karaoke Monday and had the best time. Great talent and such fun energy.

Great place to hear our local bands! If you're not in the know, look up the Shaun Booker Dammit Band! Best blues around!!

We came for the Jam Session last Tuesday evening. My family was in town and thankfully my brother brought his sax. We really enjoyed ourselves, myself especially since I haven't heard my brother play live in years! The session was well run, by a local music professor and there were quite a few young talents we all need to look out for in the future music world! The tavern is reminiscent of "Cheers" and the bar staff was very attentive and responded professionally and peacefully to a complaint about a loud patron who had too much to drink. The crowd was made of up people of all races and ages, which really made it cool. The bathroom was way upstairs and pretty isolated, so the ladies would opt to go together. They also have a patio for smokers.

I popped in for jazz night. A local music professor brings his band in to play for a little bit, then students (or anyone else) can sit in. The guy running the gig was super friendly and welcoming to newcomers. It was efficiently run and everyone got a chance to play.The songs were the ones you'd expect to hear, and the musicians were pretty good! There were some stand outs, but everyone held their own.The place itself is clean. The crowd is friendly and cool. The staff was attentive. Loved it. Had a great time.

Used to frequent Tuesday nights for jazz. Always enjoyed the atmosphere and the bartender Quinn. Moved away in 2020 and can say I miss Tuesdays there

Friendly and comfortable dive on Park St. It's on the smaller side so I recommend getting there early. The bathrooms are upstairs and I won't lie, I was shocked that they were super clean. Granted, we were there earlier in the day.Happy Hour specials aren't bad, some drafts are $4-5, PBR can is $3 and there were deals on top shelf.

Really cool spot I went to with my family to watch my brother play on a sit-in. The band director was so gracious and accommodating to the musicians. Everyone got to play, and there was a respect for the musicians and appreciation from all in attendance--fellow musicians and audience alike. Great, supportive crowd. The bartenders and staff were so laid back and cool. Very easy and quick to get drinks. Nice vibe. Good prices. Great location right across from North Market.

Park Street Tavern hasn't been reviewed as much as its neighbors. It might be because it's hard getting inside. This bar is comparatively tiny. All the other bars on this street have large open areas. This doesn't have room for that. It was one of the bars featured on the St. Patrick's Day bar crawl. It really got ridiculously cramped on there. The bartenders did a pretty good job at keeping up. Sometimes they make you pay a cover. There wasn't any this weekend. It had a live band. There's a stage squished into the front. Often the bands play classic rock covers. The prices of drinks are okay. I had a Jameson and ginger ale. This was $5. That's not terrible for a bar in a wannabe trendy area like this. It didn't seem to have food. It's okay because there's plenty of other nearby food options. The crowd isn't as douchey as other bars on Park.

I sat at the bar and had drinks and dinner. They've got some good beer on tap and the service was quick and friendly!The Rachel (a grilled sandwich with Turkey and coleslaw) and it was underwhelming. The potato rounds I ordered with it were still hard/not fully cooked. I should have ordered the burger and may go back to try it still because the atmosphere is great.

We visited park ave tavern as first time as a couple.It is a great dive bar atmosphere with good service and music. Soon after our arrival we were offered drinks by a 10+ year regular 'Mike'. I left my girlfriend for 20-30 minutes and he turned out to be a creep.
