Okay, yea yea I know when you're eating at NoMa you're expecting to pay premium prices for lunch.. so I'll try to refrain from repeatedly mentioning the ridiculously priced wrap at $12 during this review.Stopped by the North Market for lunch, pretty crowded weekday and I needed to be quick so popped over to The Roost because there was no wait and every other spot had a line 5-10 ppl deep (should've been my first indication, ugh.) Service was fine, ordered the Park Street Wrap with grilled chicken and buffalo sauce, the girl asked "what side?" when I inquired "what sides do you have?" annoyed she simply pointed towards the board. Guess I should've had my full order ready, though not like I was holding up the line as there wasn't anyone behind me, but I quickly selected the hash browns.Food came out fairly quick, so I was happy about that but once I got to my seat I could see why with how sloppily they assembled the wrap. The wrap tasted okay as it kept falling apart in my hands but left a lot to be desired, stuffed with reheated chicken bits and iceberg lettuce. For $12 you just expect so much more! Even in NoMa this wrap should be priced at $7/8 bucks tops. The greasy hash browns were pretty good tho.. I will not be making a return visit.

Park Street Poultry sells the highest quality products -- great flavor, plus the animals are responsibly raised. Because we are vulnerable to Covid-19, we now require contactless curbside delivery. Park Street Poultry did a great job! I emailed my order -- chicken leg quarters, boneless skinless thighs, frozen smoked turkey thigh, ground chicken thigh, eggs and chicken drumsticks -- then called when we arrived to give credit card info and parking location. Our order was well packed and iced, and they put it in the car trunk. Everyone was super nice and helpful.

As the name suggests, they have fresh, local poultry and exotic meats such as yak, bison and ostrich. Definitely not cheap, but you get great service as well as great meats.

In the past I've ordered from this establishment before. However, this go around was a complete FAIL! I ordered a week in advance and did follow-up calls because it was for Thanksgiving and I was leaving nothing to chance. Anyway, upon speaking to an employee, I have names, I was assured my Turkey, Duck and Chicken would be thawed and deboned for my Turducken. I'd even called in the day before pick up to let them know I had to work and my son would be picking up my order using my card. Np! That night I arrived to a duck frozen solid and nothing deboned. Although, I knew they were closed I called that evening and left a msg. The next morning I called and called with no answer, got no call back from my msg., NOTHING! I drive up to the North Market with everything in full swing and with this box of poultry. I asked for mgr. and was told he was the owner. I explained my dilemma and asked if he rcv'd my msg. He said, "I listened to some, but not all". Okay that's that. To wind this up he said the duck came solid because it would be unthawed by Thanksgiving. I said, "it was supposed to be thawed upon pick-up because I cook the night before". He said, "he had no notes from the employee I told him confirmed all this". He said, "I'd like to make this right". Well, he charged me an add'l $60 on top of the $110 to debone the poultry. He offered to the poultry back and give me a refund. What do I do? My menu is planned, l stood there calling around with no luck of finding a duck and fresh poultry. Yep! I paid it. I'm so disappointed, but I'm more pissed of the lack of care. The only thing I saw was a "it's your choice, take it or leave it". No, I won't order from them again, but I want ppl to know my experience. Things are expensive and we pay a lot to patronize businesses to keep them in business. Yep! "Your Choice"!

This place changed ownership and went downhill horribly. I bought a roasting hen- got it home to prepare it and it was rancid. I went in to get a refund today and was treated with great courtesy by the owner. I did not get another bird because the one they offered was frozen and did not look fresh. The existing meat in the case was all rotten which was unbelievable. The person managing the store sits around listening to his airpods alot, doesnt speak English, and never engages the customers. The new owners have the restaurant adjacent to it. I always have to flag them down to buy anything which makes me feel like an imposition and not a customer. Previous owners knew poultry. How to source it, process it, market it. Their product was of the finest quality. New owners don't know as much. They have destroyed the business as far as I'm concerned.
