Palumbo's Italian Market

Palumbo's is a quaint Italian market and deli. They offer an array of sandwiches and sides (slaw, pasta salad, broccoli salad, etc), as well as larger pasta based entrees such as chicken parm, chicken marsala, lasagna, and ziti. They also offer catering services. I tried the 'jacster' sandwich (turkey, sprovolone, sun dried tomatoes, basil, olive oil, sprinkled cracked pepper on ciabatta). I also got a side of bowtie pasta salad. Both were delicious, and tasted really fresh.Aside from the deli, they have a few aisles of various goods that were fun to browse.

The service was fantastic. They were so nice. My wife and I were in town for a long weekend and wanted something to take home to our Airbnb. They had a 2 entrees, 2 sides and 2 desserts for $22 deal. It was absolutely fantastic, honestly blown away. The eggplant stackers were insane. Reheated in the over and tasted like they were made on the spot. Bow tie pasta salad was bomb. And holy crap, try the lemon cake. Out of this world.

Stopped in to pick up something for dinner. The woman in front of me got waited on. I was waiting when a staff member came out from the back and asked the lady in front of me if she had been waited on. The lady said yes and then the staff member said if you need anything let me know....turned and went back to the room she came from. I stood there slightly stunned that she didn't even acknowledge me. I turned and left. It is not my responsibility to flag down staff, it is their responsibility to be alert. I was right there at the counter. Won't waste that trip to there again!Totally disappointed

Palumbo has so many AMAZING choices for take home food. I had the shells and cheese and I was very impressed.

The dry goods section is looking a bit sparse currently, but the star of this small to go eatery is the refrigerated options. The desserts were smooth and absolutely amazing. We enjoyed a berry crumble cake and a chocolate mousse. We also grabbed a macaroni and cheese dish to reheat at home and a fresh vibrant broccoli salad. The reheating instructions were on point and so helpful. The deli subs all looked exciting and will have to stop by some other time to indulge.

Great homemade food. It has a fantastic array of prepared take out food. All made on site. The "Paulie" is my fave sandwich!The cold cuts in the sandwiches are top shelf. Very high quality food.

I found this little gem taking a shortcut using River Road, which I usually never use -- it's sort of off the beaten path. This market is new and has plenty to offer lovers of Italian foods. We bought some of their homemade gnocchi and sauce - cooked it up for lunch the following day and it was excellent. We also took home some homemade Italian Wedding Soup -- also very good. There is also an impressive selection of meals to go -- entrees including lasagna, stuffed shells, chicken parmesan (and more); side dishes like classic Italian meatballs and garlic smashed potatoes; salads -- deli meats and cheeses -- sandwiches... And killer desserts -- we tried the Key Lime Pie, a sugar pie (I forgot the name of it), and tiramisu -- all very tasty. This is a great hidden gem. Great food to go, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and many options.

So excited they have the Dream Cake!!!!! It was a classic staple at The Village Baker years ago and never thought I'd get to have it again!

This is a gem of a place we found ad we were traveling from out of state- great quality and good prices and service- they have quite the wine selection and were very knowledgeable and spot on with their recommendations based on my preferences. We will definitely be back!
