Not sure how I haven't reviewed this yet. I've been coming for years. Off and on, not regularly. But I know I can find what I'm looking for here, and find other really good stuff.Bigger than it looks but still not huge; the stuff they have, though, is excellent. "Well curated," I guess you'd say. Some street parking, and when we came this time on a Friday at 6, a space right out front. Friendly service. Decent prices.

This is a nice-sized space filled with a good selection of beers - fridges run along most edges of the store. They carry some from the big names, more unique flavors and styles, and local options. We found a new-to-us ale from Gahanna to try, the Heart State Strings. Sale and clearance items are highlighted with bright signage on the doors to each fridge. There are several small rows containing wine, sodas (including Boylan), and basic snacks, such as chips and candy. They also sell the lottery here. A parking lot is available in the rear, which has its own entrance, and there are several spots of street parking located in the front, as well.Service was friendly and efficient - we were greeted upon entry and the cashier had us all set to go quickly and smoothly. We would stop in again when nearby.

Pretty neat, larger than it looks on the outside. They have a great selection and I will be back to get more beer that I can't get elsewhere.

This is probably the largest, cleanest carry-out that I've been to. They've got tons of beer and wine and snacks. And the owner is a very nice guy!

Life is fantastic when one is aware of your priorities.Of course, when your priorities are BEER, there is absolutely no question - YOU NEED TO COME HERE.There are a number of various liquor stores that carry beer and there are even fewer liquor stores that carry fine, microbrews. This is not the former. This is it, the big cheese, the #1 thumb glove. Come inside, card at the ready, cash at the holster, and come, with open eyes. There are plenty standing at room temperature, plenty inside the fridge, and plenty that you'll have never heard of, even if you have scoured and memorized the Big50 list that BeerAdvocate has pushed out.

Meh, I've experienced better, THEY USE TO BE BETTER. Not sure what is going on here over the last year but a lot of their inventory has changed and a lot of the snacks and brands I use to come here to get are no longer being carried or are always out of stock. When they tell me they are sold out and you come back four times and it hasn't been restocked, I wonder if they are telling the truth or just plain lying. Store is generally so clean you could eat off the floor. Street parking is nice because their back parking lot can be scary after dark.

Male worker ( possibly owner?) was very aggressive and pushy towards me. As a small female I didn't feel comfortable here and won't be coming back.

WOMEN DO NOT GO HERE! Aggressively shook and yanked on my car door, screaming at my female friend while my car was parked for an entirety of two minutes. I apologized and said I was moving my car, but that wasn't good enough for him. The owner then called me stupid and said he'd have me towed before I went to move my car. I moved my car anyway. Again, two minutes. Yanking on my car door at night screaming at my young female friend. Good luck with your business.

If you rent a U-Haul truck from this store (a U-Haul dealer), be sure to physically stay and observe the store clerk as he confirms the mileage used and the amount of gas in the tank upon your return of the vehicle. On Tuesday, November 19th, I rented a U-Haul truck from this store. Per usual, I took photos of the entire truck (the exterior and interior), the mileage, and the gas gauge - before and after the rental - in case there were any discrepancies later on.Weirdly, this U-Haul dealer did not present a U-Haul contract for me to read over and sign, but I ignored that red flag. So, the U-Haul 10-ft box truck gets 12 miles per gallon. I returned the truck with 24 miles of usage. That would mean I needed to put 2 gallons of gas in the truck before returning it. I put 2.3 gallons of gas in the truck, just to be sure I was covered. And I have my gas receipt to prove it. Again, I also took photos of the gas gauge after I returned the truck and the gas gauge read slightly over the amount that it was before I took the truck. When I picked the truck up, the gas gauge was slightly under 15/16 of a tank. The store clerk told me the gas gauge was at 15/16 of a tank when he rented the truck to me without offering me the contract to read over. After I returned the truck, the store charged my credit card an additional $8.50 for gas and told me that the gas gauge was at 7/8 (14/16) of a tank when returned. The store clerk also said he took photos of the gas gauge at the 7/8 mark. Now I'm wondering if the store clerk turned on the engine and took a photo of the rising gas gauge at 7/8 of a tank BEFORE the gas needle was able to completely rise to show the actual complete amount of gas in the tank upon the truck's return. And I'm even wondering if this is common practice for this store when renting U-Haul trucks - especially since the store clerk sat in the truck for five minutes, right until I eventually drove off. Then he got out of the truck as I was finally leaving the premises. At any rate, the store refused to resolve this issue and told me that they couldn't reverse the charges. This store even refused to accept my photos and gas receipt.STAY and WATCH these guys confirm the usage information upon your rental truck return!

If you are grabbing anything to drink you have to come to Pace High Carryout! I have been coming here for over a year for everything from liquid death waters, to teavana teas, to my favor white wines. There is everything you might want. The selection is enormous. Dev the owner works most nights and is extremely friendly and kind. He sometimes hosts tastings on fridays (mostly during the summer). This is a staple of clintonville! I highly recommend giving them a visit!
