Omahoma Bob's BBQ

Was planning to go to the City Steakhouse but they were not open. We popped in here on a whim. Though two distinctly different places and foods, this BBQ was superb! My chicken was out of this world delicious! The accompanying turnip greens and red beans & rice were a cut above as well! Yummy! Order & pay first and have a seat. Our food came out fairly quickly in the overall small but themed space. Highly recommend!

We must have come on an OFF day, I had been looking forward to trying this place for sometime. The beans were very runny, the chicken wings were tough and the meat didn't come off the bone at all, the fried okra was fried in big clumps so there was a lot of raw batter in them the brisket was nice and tender but the serving size was very small for the price. I thought I saw somewhere that they gave a Military/First responders discount and when I asked and showed my badge the girl did nothing.Like I said it could have just been the day...

Receptionist at Wooster College's Health Center recommended this place. Wonderful brisket. I like to run my own smoker and places like this is one reason I don't do brisket. Their brisket sets the bar high and I am intimidated.

Best BBQ in Ohio and in my opinion, the United States. Pulled pork and brisket are Awesome!

Best BBQ around, from the Ribs, Brisket, Wings (gotta try the Old Bay Dry Rub) to the smoked Armadillo Eggs, more sides than you can choose from. Smoked Vermont Chedder Mac is amazing. Friendly, family service. Even can enjoy a gold beer.

Had the brisket and ribs. Both pretty good. I've had better but definitely had worse. The beans were very good. Hush puppies are good. The bbq sauce was very good. I'd go back and try something else. I've had bbq all over the U.S. so I probably shouldn't be comparing to that. As far as wooster and surrounding areas there is probably no better.

The wings and coleslaw was very good! The major disappointment was not having blue cheese for the wings and the french fries. When I hear skin on fries I'm all in. We received very tiny chunks of potatoes. There was nothing on the plate you could even remotely call a fry,

I have tried to like this establishment but other than the brisket, it's fairly anticlimactic in my experiences. I typically only go here because others I am with want to. I don't know if any of the sides are made in-house. I saw greens and coleslaw in commercially purchased containers.When I saw a worker testing how hot my chili was by dipping their finger in it, and then putting it in the microwave, that did it for me. (The reflection in the glass told the story.)Yes, they had a glove on but had been handling other items. I kindly addressed it, and they kindly offered a new bowl and some fries. Okay. However, this should not happen in a public restaurant. I believe this was be my last visit to Bob's.

The absolute best BBQ in Ohio. Cooked to perfection each and every time. Prices are competitive.
