Olentangy Village

This is in a great neighborhood. It is very walk-able with multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and right off the bike trail. The office staff is pleasant and they like my dog! My neighbors are lovely. There are garden plots to rent. Garages are available to rent. I am really happy here.

I moved here in September 2023 and I absolutely love it here! All the staff at the rental office have been just super! So friendly and helpful! The maintenance and housekeeping folks are wonderful, and the complex is so beautiful and charming with all the fantastic architecture and views, with plentiful old growth hardwood trees throughout. It's just magical! I love it and I'm glad I chose Olentangy Village!

Safe, quiet, and restful apartment community. The rental/leasing staff are warm, friendly, and caring. They're interested in you as an jndividual, and a tenant. Maintenance issues, when necessary, are promptly addressed with staff that are competent and friendly. Olentangy Village original apartments generate character, and they suggest their own decorating ideas. Landscaping is outstanding and is maintained regularly.A great place to live! *****

Positives:- Pretty location- Near the Olentangy trail- (Small) gym is cleanNegatives:- Pervasive mold (windows needed replacing, never were, and wall paint will bubble on and off)- Cockroaches, always and they will not solve it (lived with maybe 100s of the big ones over the year)- Staff (with a couple exceptions), are condescending- They will send a letter (no email) around asking you to renew your lease for a 'small' increase in December when everyone is out of town, it ups very quickly from thenVerdict:- Buy a tent on the trail

Predatory Landlords! Their business practices are smarmy and gross. Their goal is to keep everyone's security deposit and they use illegal ways to do it. They will charge you for use of carpet, use of blinds, etc - all of which is illegal by Ohio Law. They do this as a matter of course even though they know it's illegal, and you have to fight with them before they will change it. However, since it is illegal, they will eventually give in. then they act like they are in the right but giving in because they are charitable. These are predatory practices, and they are robbing people who are the least able to pay and those who have the least knowledge (like foreign students). They Attorney General of Ohio should investigate - I hope someone has the means for a class action lawsuit.

My husband and I were at Olentangy Village Apartments for 1 yr. We had complained that the carpet was not clean when we moved in but we're told that we would have to move our furniture so they could clean it, it was never done.So we moved out and Olentangy Village hit us with a bill for replacing the carpet and pet sealing the floor under the carpet . Unbelievable !!!!!!We do not recommend Olentangy Village to live in. Also don't rent a garage there they are rat infested. The rats chewed our things we stored in the garage. Luckily they didn't damage our car.

I have lived at the village since August 22. My roommate and I have absolutely loved it. Everything is so walkable. The staff are friendly and super helpful. I love that they remember our names. We have met so many amazing people here. The maintenance people are always so nice and knowledgeable. It it always clean and all issues get dealt with in a timely manner. I love the history and the older buildings. Yes they don't have AC but that's what in window units and windows are for. I absolutely love living here

I've lived in Olentangy Village for over 2 decades (the Village); I love older architecture and the quirks that come with it. The people who work here make the experience even better. The staff are responsive, friendly, and helpful. The people in the maintenance department do a wonderful job of upkeep on the apartments and the exteriors while the office staff are engaged with the community. I recommend that people who enjoy the experience of living in a building with older architecture and a great staff consider the Village.

Horrible place to live. Mold all over the walls which ended up growing on to my belongings . Management is a joke , Josh is a joke ... Whatever. They gave me my deposit back .. LOL .... I didn't Even pay a deposit. Thanks for the free $$$ tho.

I'm in my third year, and I love living here. Everyone in the office is so friendly and helpful. I see Susan pretty often on the grounds, and she's always helpful if I need anything.
