Olde Sawmill Park

Wonderful large green space with a basketball court, shelterhouse and picnic tables, and two playgrounds. There is a paved trail and plenty of space to run around and enjoy, with trees around for shade. The larger playground, called the Discovery Playground, has a whole lot of options: slides, swings (tire and standard), climbing structures, monkey bars, dinos to ride on, and a whole lot more! It was highly approved and much enjoyed. There is a small parking lot available too.

Wow. A big park in the center of the neighborhood, beside two schools. Playing fields, green space, shade trees, etc. We were, as always, there for the playground, and scored big time. Two playgrounds in the park itself, one small but good, the other big and excellent. Plus, two playgrounds at the elementary school next door. So four playgrounds within walking distance, some with multiple playsets. Baby K loved it all. We'll be back.
