What's with all the meh reviews? This place was awesome.We came in for an early dinner and were seated immediately, even with a larger party. The restaurant is in a very old, maybe historic, building, which gave it a cool feel. The aesthetic was very - what you would imagine in an old inn. Dark walls and decor, patterned carpet, wood accents. I really like it! Definitely unique compared to the modern designs of a lot of newer restaurants.Service was great all night, we were consistently checked on. We started with the mushrooms and they were great. I sometimes do dessert before dinner and they happily obliged, I ate every last crumb of their mud pie, it was SO good. I got a side of spaghetti and meatballs for dinner (she recommended a side since I didn't want the full plate) and it was the perfect amount. I wanted 100 meatballs though, they were so delicious. Their noodles are more ramen-like which was unique, but I really liked it.Overall, great experience. Is the food SUPER memorable? Depends what you get! But the spot is unique and we had nothing but good things to say.

This place is def 5 stars!! We come here often and the quality of the food is incredible always. This time we ordered the crab cakes for appetizer, and the grouper and lamb chops as our main entrées. I highly recommend them all. Plus the complimentary bread and butter is so fresh, warm and yummy; the cinnamon sugar on the side makes it extra special. Service is great too - friendly and food came out on time! Plus good recommendations about the food from our server!! Would I return? Absolutely!

This is the best food in the area. No where else get fresh food in daily. Bonus they use Ohio vegetable and meat to me that's awesome.

No visit to Zanesville is complete without going to Old Market House Inn Make sure you get the twice baked potato!

My wife and I stumbled upon OMHI on the way back to Columbus after a day trip to Pittsburgh. What a find!The interior of the restaurant is modeled after the interior of the oldest pub in London, the Prospect of Whitby. Trust me, you'll be amazed.On to the food. I had the lasagna, which is served in a bowl to accommodate a pool of delicious tomato sauce. The lasagna was wonderful, full of String cheese and crushed meatballs. My wife has the vodka pasta, which was likewise delicious Ice cream desserts use a locally made ice cream and we're incredible, as was the creme brulee. This place is definitely worth a drive from Columbus. We'll be back!

Chicken Marsala was fantastic. Great service! Went at 5:15 and got seated immediately. Bloody Mary was very good also!

We held our Son and Daughter In Law's rehearsal dinner here. It was a wonderful time with great food, and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating and cheerful. Ambiance and decor were lovely, in a private meeting area in the basement. Thank you Adrian and all of your lovely staff! We appreciate you all!

Not really impressed with the food and ambiance, especially with how much it costs. The meat was bland and not cooked as ordered, the sides were also bland ... not a horrible meal but definitely did not live up to the hype this place is given.
