Old Man's Cave General Store

Perfect place to stop for soft serve after a hike. I got blueberry which is amazing. Was a bit of a wait as lots of people stop here

Not customer oriented and the staff and most of all the cashier was very monotone, robotic, and came off as rude and standoffish. Seems like staff interpersonal skills and being customer oriented is a problem based on reviews. Purchased soft serve ice cream that was ok. Business has many photos of rules to follow such as the one I attached to this review. Will not go back.

Just like some of the other stores in town. Pretty basic with necessities. They also have ice cream. It's soft serve that they pump a flavor into and then it is now that flavor.

The sign outside with the bright pics of ice cream makes this place look amazing!! And then when you read the flavors.......oh man; you're in for a treat! But the ice cream was just "ok" not a ton of flavor. But hey, there's not much in the area as far as a cold treat goes so I'm sure they rake in the biz. I'm sure that's the point of this place. It's also a small mart if you're camping close by and need a few things. This is a pretty generic review because there isn't much to say. Next time I'll go for the pistachio:)

The young guy with the dark beard was a total jerk. He was so annoyed by us. My husband ordered a flurry and wanted both peanut butter cup and butterfinger. He was quick to bark at us " 1 flavor!" We ordered a carmel shake and a small chocolate cone. The vanilla in the flurry was light green? The chocolate cone tasted like carmel the feral cats were the only enjoyable part of our experience. ​

One of the best exotic and convenient ice cream spots in the Hocking Forest region. Pitch a tent, set up the stove, relax... then set up the entire campsite again 10 feet away when the officer informs you you're in the wrong spot, one over. After that and a runaway dog at Old Man's Cave later, stick those muddy shoes in a bag and get a lick of this! Ohio. Hocking Hills, Ohio. Find it here. Wish they gave samples. Small store but quick, friendly service and awesome ice cream flavors. Over 20 to choose from!

Spent Friday and Saturday here. Everything was great. Food, ice cream and ALOT of great beer choices. Craft and core alike. Everyone was laughing and was nice to see. Good stop.

DO NOT EVEN BOTHER GOING HERE the ice cream was horrible pretty sure the milk was expired the service was also horrible. The guy at the counter was a complete jerk didn't even care. HORRIBLE.

Great bunch of staff! Very Friendly, and overall wonderful! Selection of items available is plentiful, considering the "out in the sticks" location. The store has a rustic small-town feel! AGAIN, wonderful and friendly staff!
