Hands down - best communities in the Columbus area. I've lived at 2 complexes and both took great care of the community. The staff are always friendly. Definitely recommended!

I felt this was the perfect place for me until Marijuana was made legal to smoke. I have complained about the Marijuana smell and smoke coming into my home from my neighbors since November. The complex manage thier attourney and the reginal maager all said I needed to go to court to testify. That would not be in my best interest for security and safety reasons. i have chronic medical condition. I even had my Doctor write a letter for an accommodation so I coujld break my lease they ingnored the letter. They wouldnt live this way. People are awful and so disrespectful and uncaring. Non the less I will be leaving before the lease has ended. The irritation is causing nosebleeds. People are just discusting anymore. You have to protect yourself because people sure enough do not care.

Filthy, not move-in ready townhome is what I had to deal with when renting at the Glen at Rocky Fork. I have moved in less expensive homes in the past that were 100% cleaner than this. This is just a small glimpse of what I encountered when moving in. Also, steps collapsed from underneath me while going into garage. This shows how units are not being inspected and cleaned after tenants move out. Hopefully, no one else has to, or will experience what I experienced when moving in.Plus I have never in my life been charged a fee ($.95) to pay rent every month . There were no fee-free options. May not seem like a lot, but still... it adds up.

Worst move-in experience--filthy--not move-in ready! Townhome (Glen at Rocky Fork)--smelly carpet; dust and stains on blinds; dust and stains throughout the townhome to name a few. If you are fortunate to not have to go through this, pretty decent place to live.

I've been living here 6 years. My rent started off at $670 and now in 2022 it's $822 for a 500 sq ft 1 bedroom. This place is not worth the price nor the luxury to be this expensive. Now I'm hearing it $1,100 or Moe now. They charge you out of the butt for water like you are living in a house. When I had my house I paid least than this water bill and it was 3 mos. JS saying it's not enough room for what their offering. This is my last year here because I know their raising the rent like they do every year with no improvements.

I live in an apartment complex (Timber Creek) managed by Oakwood management and they are horrible over here. Been putting the same requests for maintenance now for about 3 months. They always answer " well that's not us, that would be our contractor who would take care of that". Well they need to get a new contractor, that's shouldn't be my problem. Ceiling coming down in one room and bathroom door needs replaced.

The Edge at Polaris is a great complex managed by Oakwood, and while the complex itself was great- the move out experience has been a nightmare. They kept my entire $500 deposit and are now trying to charge me $1,500 more for things "missing" around the apartment (I have a video walkthrough of the entire apartment upon leaving showing every inch of the space to combat this) such at rubber door stops, window locks being broken on windows that were never opened, and lightbulbs. Do not live anywhere that is managed by Oakwood management, they only want your money.

I applied to live at an Oakwood management property. The edge of Polaris. I was told I was denied by of my background check. I do have sealed records. Aaron, the head manager, said my records were not sealed by he accessed them....but wouldn't tell me what charge was keeping me from being accepted. My lawyer met with the judge the next day.....the judge says that even on his end he can't access my records bc they are sealed. He told my lawyer they flat out lied, made up they saw some charges, and I should take legal action. It's in the works. Just know they are sneaky, dishonest, and discriminate. When a judge recommends taking legal action against not just the manager, but Oakwood Management as a whole...that speaks VOLUMES

I have lived in Oakwood Management Properties for 4 years now and have never had a bad encounter with them. Maintenance is always prompt and courteous and management and leasing are great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new apartment in professionally run properties.
