We recently moved from Florida and planned our move in accordance with a new build. We ended up having to stay in a hotel for two weeks. Out of curiosity I was scrolling through Trulia one night and came across these newly renovated units. We took a leap of faith and reached out to Tim & Meg. They walked us through the whole process and were so supportive of our move. They helped us prepare our documents in one day. We were able to move in the next day and had a home for our twin infants. Finally a property management team that works and CARES for their residents instead of chasing a commission! We recommend this place to all of our friends!

Nope, nope, and nope. If you want to be harassed about every little thing then this is the place for you. This place is a sh*t hole disguised by stainless steel appliances and an amazon echo. I can't wait until my lease is up so I can get away from this place. I'm willing to pay the extra money to leave somewhere else where I don't have to listen to the loud noise coming from my neighbors upstairs. I've heard everything from arguments, people having sex, playing and stomping, and television and radio. I've been depressed since I've been here because the staff won't do anything except make broken promises like "I promise you, I'll take care of the problem." Really disappointed.

I recently went out to Oak Creek in order to train the staff in the IOTAS smart home technology that every apartment at this property has. I found the property staff to be incredibly engaged with their residents and inspiring to work with. They truly care about the happiness of those that choose to call Oak Creek home.

The lady that works there...very racist. Although, racial comments were not exchanged, she shows it with her attitude--I compare her attitude to white people that enter after or before me.They will probably not give your rent deposit back even if it is wear-n-tear. The windows have broken rusted metal springs that tear up the blinds. They WILL NOT/CANNOT change the windows. They just say it's just old types, but that doesn't fix the blinds being torn up all the time. Moreover, they will charge $20 for each blind when they only cost about $5 at Lowes. Tied to this is a furnace/AC. It requires a rare size filter that you cannot find anywhere. Beware that if your filter breaks, it's your fault...but if you can't get the proper fitment and the company can't supply them, then you're screwed either way.The maintenance is so-so...after the new company took over, the first few weeks were ok as they found so much to fix, but later on they don't follow-up. They won't plow the snow or salt the roads...maybe like 1-2 times a winter season...The parking lot towards the back is a little unsafe. People speed down the back way and some outsiders know it as a vacant area where they can park their cars for weeks at a time, bring bar fights and meet up there, some punk kids smoking weed near the area before the train tracks, highschoolers/college kids having car s3x, car break-ins/theft, some Latinos digging through the dumpsters for aluminum cans and paperwork?, and dumpster divers galore...I really don't think this is a place to be. Look at the REAL reviews. I think all of the goods ones were done by property managers or even the Operator, as she is called...terrible title.I could go on about the poor managing and customer service, but the above statement should be enough for you...btw, I am fighting off for my deposit back as I have video footage before and after, as well as e-mails to prove it. Piece of cake...we'll see how they react...and to think they are charging me when they don't know of the condition of the apartment before I moved it...Get your facts straight before you start deducting from deposit--New companies that buy these complexes have no clue and just assume that you broke it...then they chargeI'm surprised the "operator" still works there will all the complaints..I'm even more surprised that the company has let her stay..she'll ruin the ratings and ultimately business...The good parts to be fair:1. Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for...2. Garage space is nice to have...3. Easy access to Polaris, Giant Eagle, Krogers, Lowes, Home Depot, fast food, highway (71, 23, 270, 315)4. Somewhat quiet and safe.5. Olentangy School district--Oak Creek Elementary is rated very high!

We have spent almost 4 years in Oak creek at Polaris apartments and would highly recommend it. Nice and clean apartment with plenty of green and open space for kids to play around and lakes to watch fishes and Goose. Very helping and professional support and maintenance staffs. Maintenance request process is simple and quick and most of request has been done same day noon.

I started shopping for apartments just to look around and see what is out there. I stopped at Oak Creek and was impressed with the customer service! I was shown around the property and all of my questions were answered. This property will definetly be on my list when it is time to make my decison.

I love Champion property management! Let me rewind to about a year ago, still in Uni, preparing for an entry level job moving to Columbus. I was a mess with post anxiety attack when Abby graciously helped me get my residency situated. Ifigured I wouldn't get the best apartment since it was a spur of the moment decision with the company I was working for. I had a lot of difficulty with other apartment rental places with paperwork and general timelines and Abby and Drew made the process so easy. They got everything handled within the day usually in a matter of minutes. Even the maintenance is on top of it and I have even looked at other Champion properties since my experiences with them. They make it hard to move!!! You almost don't want to leave because you know how good you had it. Every facility is clean and I never feel icky or unsafe in their communities. They really are a family that you can rely on. It's pet friendly and family friendly. Any amenity you could possibly think of; they will offer and if you're a little shy they have resident events that make it fun and inviting. I honestly can't say enough about the people and the services. I think anyone who chooses to live with Champion will realize every penny towards rent is worthwhile. Even if you aren't super amenity focused I believe you'll find something within the Champion community that will make it hard to ever want to move elsewhere. This wasn't a sponsored review. I hate writing them and choose to opt from writing reviews but I feel like everyone should know renting can be easy and Champion makes it effortless!

I recently just took a job that transferred me from Los Angeles to Columbus. Prior to moving, I scheduled fourteen apartment tours in three days. Such apartments included multiple complexes under the "Champion" umbrella. This should tell you that extensive research was done and that I was thorough in my search. At this point, I should highlight that out of all the companies I toured with, the experience I had with Champion far exceeded the experience I had with everyone else. I say that to say, they were more hospitable, more knowledgeable, professional, etc. So, if you are looking for apartments, Champion is a great place to start and may save you a lot of time in your search. After three long and exhausting days, I finally decided on Oak Creek at Polaris. I have been here for three weeks now, and honestly, I am so happy with my decision. The property as a whole is so peaceful, clean, and calming. The gym has everything you need, the pool and grill area is so relaxing, often I find myself coming out there to relax and read. As for tenets, everyone is friendly, and the location is literally within 3.5-4miles of everything you need. Such includes, target, Walmart, grocery stores, the mall, restaurants, movies--the list goes on.Lastly, as someone who does not know much about Columbus, who does not know anyone, and so on, I feel I must highlight the Community managers--they are wonderful. Tyler initially gave me the tour, and since then, he has been extremely helpful throughout the entire moving process. Both he and Yatzary have been kind enough to offer suggestions on places to go, things to do, food to eat, and for someone who knows nothing of the area--this has been extremely helpful. I haven't built as much a rapport with Joe as the other two, but every time we have crossed paths, he's been nothing but kind.
