O'Connors Club 20

Friends and I visited for Karaoke Friday. We had 5-7 people at our table. The service was good. The bartenders were behind the bar most of the night - most people took their cans or empty glasses up to the bar. You can keep your tab open for easy ordering and settle up before you leave. They do have drink specials.The karaoke crowd was a mix. Some people obviously show up every Friday and are great singers. Some of the regulars don't sing well but make up for it with enthusiasm.Every table is expected to provide a singer (or two). No lookie-lou's allowed. Bring a list of tunes you want to sing and the DJ will make recommendations. I didn't realize one of my friends was nervous about public speaking; she really wanted us to do this. She got up to sing Rihanna's Stay and she got hit with nerves. One of the regulars was so kind, offering encouragement and even singing it with her as a duet.

No wait times, just vibes. Drinks were cold and tasty and we got to enjoy some Kareoke. I haven't been to this bar for a while so it was nice to be here again. I was having so much fun, my friends left to get ready to go home and I was still rocking out to people singing. It was hype!

I've been coming here for better or worse for what feels like forever. Let's be clear - it's a very gay friendly bar close to campus, so if you're an asshole, don't swing by to ruin the mood. You will be outnumbered by awesome people in a great area of town. My friends love karaoke, and they have amazing karaoke mcs. Their bartenders (especially JR!) are awesome, fast, friendly, and LOVELY human beings. The ambiance is like walking into a house converted into a bar, and it just works, you know?No food, but they've never yelled at me when I've brought in Hounddogs. Basically, we go there a lot because we always end up singing and having a wonderful time.

That's the jam. Great service, friendly atmosphere, and the premier smoking patio in central Columbus. If karaoke is your thing, this is where to go. Or if not, still a go-to

Really fun bar with great drink specials and wonderful entertainment. We came for karaoke and stayed all night! It's definitely a little dive and liquor is a bit pricey but they pour heavy handed and beer and canned seltzers were very reasonably priced. Clean restrooms. We felt welcome here.

O'Connors Club 20 is awesome! It is always a great friendly and fun crowd, food, drinks and service are always excellent. A small quaint cool family owned restaurant and bar, I love places like this!

Club 20 is a great little LGBT-friendly dive bar -- the best LGBT-friendly dive bar in Columbus! As readers probably can tell by the photos in the header of this business's profile, it is rather small inside. However, and somewhat deceptively, it offers outdoor space that rivals the indoor space, and this outdoor space is divided roughly in half between a patio area and a heated "garage-like" space that functions well in all but the most brutal winter conditions. How many bars offer something like that?Unlike most of the LGBT-friendly bars in Columbus, which are located either in the Short North or the south end, Club 20 is just off High St. in the North University District, so it is a nice alternative when one tires of the typical offerings. The crowd at Club 20 often reflects its location with patrons ranging from "eclectic" to downright "Bohemian", which only makes Club 20 more interesting. The nice thing about Club 20 is that everyone is welcome, everyone is friendly, and everyone gets along. The only real drawback is that parking can be a challenge at times, but go there a few times and you will figure that out.Club 20 is the best LGBT-friendly bar to go to for karaoke Tuesdays and/or Fridays in Columbus. Yes, Tuesday karaoke is back after a long COVID-19 interruption! King Leo is the KJ and he always does a good job making sure that everyone is enjoying themselves, and that the rotations run smoothly.

Complete Joke!!! Waste of Money!!! They just charged me $63 for 4 drinks!!! Don't waste your money here!!! These guys aren't Irish and can't speak a lick of the motherland. Super over priced. The management just completely sucked!!! I wouldn't spend a Dollar here!!!!

O'Connors Club 20 is a dive if I've ever seen one! I came up to visit some friends in Columbus over Pride weekend and we found ourselves here after a long day of celebrations. Pride weekend brought a big crowd into this place and the drag show entertainment that came in was great. The atmosphere was super welcoming and you can tell that this bar probably has a great sense of community during their usual nights.I'm a sucker for a good dive and this place is certainly no exception. O'Connors definitely has a pretty grungy vibe and I wouldn't take someone here I was trying to impress. However, If I wanted to have a no-nonsense night with friends, this place would be an awesome spot to come booze up and sing some karaoke or catch a drag show. The drinks were strong and the people nice.

Really rude staff. Like catty and mean rude AF. One client called me a really offensive epithet then the bartender followed suit and was extremely racist/offensive
