Northstar Café

As always, food is great. We always get the NorthStar Veggie Burger. Suggestion, consider using the same buns that they use in Westerville. Yours seem more like a fast food place would have. Service is ALWAYS GREAT! Ambience?! Wellll, The last 2 or 3 times we were there my wife found the woman's room rather off-putting. Especially in the handicap stall, she said there was a sewer gas smell which made her nauseous.For now, we've decided that we'll make the longer trip to go to Westerville, but would hope at some point we can come back to Beechwold (it's closer to us).I/we hope you'll take these critiques in the spirit they're offered; from patrons who LOVE NorthStar but hope issues are addressed.

I have always enjoyed Northstar. This location is by far my most favorite. I think its the layout of the dining room. The food is always solid here too and the bartenders are fabulous, although we miss the one that we always had... havent seen him in a while... ryan? If you have him you're getting a great drink. Cheers.

The staff was amazing here! We were a bigger group of 5 on a busy thursday lunch and they helped us find a table! I got the buddha bowl which i've had a few times before. The tofu has a smokey taste and the peanut sauce is yum. it's so good and the perfect amount. i don't leave hungry but i also don't need rolled out. I'm including some other meals my friends ordered because the food is so vibrant and fresh.

Another fabulous chopped salad at Northstar! Love this place and their food. Today was craving a salad and they delivered. Also enjoyed the minty ginger ale. Responsive servers, pleasant ambiance, easy parking on street or in the lot behind the building. This location seems a little smaller than others but has the same friendly vibe as other locations.I wish there were additional locations in Cincinnati!

Live jazz every evening which makes the perfect pairing with their great ambience and menu options. We went to their Easton Center location and service was excellent. Food came fast and there were plenty of places to choose for seating. Burrata pizza is absolute must (did not take pictures ) as well as chicken bowl with peanut sauce amazing flavor and perfect spiciness

It's a fun and energetic vibe. The food comes out quick and the servers are friendly. It's a walk up and order then they bring it to you place. The outdoor seating is small and very close to the street but its still nice. The ingredients are very fresh and tasty with good sized portions. It was a great place for lunch!

Always a great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable and cozy too. While I'm partial to the OG Short North location, every one of the locations has a familiar feel. And soon the Kenwood Square location in Cincy will be closer to my current home.

Northstar cafe is great for breakfast and lunch and even for a casual dinner out. Their adherence to farm fresh food has been why it's become so popular in Columbus. You order at a counter and they bring your food to you. The location near Clintonville has a nice patio for outdoor seating in the summer which is great. I love their egg sandwiches as well as their prosciutto and poached egg for breakfast. And if you're a bacon lover definitely don't miss out on the side of bacon! Their soups and salads are petty good for lunch as are their thin crust pizzas. I've not loved the hamburger here the one time I've tried it. All in all a nice casual dining place which can get pretty busy during peak hours.

The food was fresh, warm and tasted amazing. The service was very quick and very easy. The restaurant had good music playing and the tables and restaurant were kept nice and clean.

It was crowded and there was a bit of a wait to order for our party of 5 adults, but were assisted by one of the workers who saw that we also had a baby with us who made sure we had a spot and a high chair by the time we had ordered.The food was very good. Chopped salad, breakfast burrito, veggie burgers, ricotta pancakes, chili, hot cider, and more. The downside was the annoying, extremely loud soundtrack. I left with a headache, and it did not help digestion. I felt like they kept it like that to make sure no one lingered (although the table next to us was occupied when we sat down, and still occupied when we left.)
