I know everyone's experiences are different but I personally haven't had any major problems with this place. The few that I have had are either about normal apartment living (hearing loud neighbors) but the few I have taken to the office have all been responded to and fixed. They have always seemed friendly and willing to help. Given apartment prices in the area these are a great value and still look nice overall.

This is a not 1/5. This is 0/5. Please read before you sign your lease!!!!!!! Terrible people! I have a complaint against Ardent Northpark Place located in Columbus, OH.I signed my lease with them in March of 2020. Since then it has been a nightmare. Ever since I moved in, I have complained about the parking situation there so from that moment I think they grew a dislike against me. I told them about my garbage disposal during the summer of 2020 and the guy who came to fix it fixed it but then left it leaking and we had no idea until weeks later when I found mold and maggots under my sink. I just cleaned it up and went along. I also let them know about my AC, as it was making a loud noise and the guy came in and said there isn't a noise and left. When I clearly took a video of the noise and sent it in and still nothing, luckily summer was ending and I didn't need my AC anymore. Since November I called the office once and went in to file a complaint about mold growing on my windows. The apartment below us was vacant and they have some construction stuff going on below us so I don't know if that lead to us having mold in our windows. But like I said, I told the office and they did nothing. Now it's January and still nothing. I have a 4 year old son, and him being in this small apartment with mold, and with his bed being right next to the window with mold wasn't happening. I took it upon myself to find a new place to live. I turned in my keys early on Saturday, January 30th, 2021. I told the lady inside(I think she was new because she had no idea what to do) that I was turning in my keys because I have told them twice now about my mold and they haven't done anything. She instructed that she couldn't take my keys, but I left them with her anyways as I found a new place to live anyways. The manager Jennifer then emailed me the next day stating that if I don't come pick up my keys it would be considered a "skip" and that I'd have to pay $1300To break my contract plus the last 2 months of rent. In that email, she stated nothing about the mold or if she could check up on that. All she said was "we have no record of that." Well, since Northpark Place switches employees and management like underwear, maybe it was not relayed properly and I guess that's my fault? Even though it should be theirs, I have pictures of proof of mold. I sent those to her and still no word about fixing the problem only a "come pick up your keys or else". I called Monday and explained to her that I talked to 2 different people about the mold problem and still nothing. I stated that i was going to have my neighbor pick up the keys and i would pay the last 2 months of rent and call the health inspector t o come check the mold. She said I had until the 31st to pick up my keys and it's too late even though it was only February 2nd and rent wasn't late yet and she talked to corporate and they said they can't "change it in the system" that it's now vacant and she already started flipping the apartment. I then called the next day to the corporate office and tried to get a hold of a Sarah who's the "manager". I've called 4 times and left messages each time and nothing yet. I'm so disappointed in this company. The way they treat residents is outrageous and I feel disrespected. I pay rent on time never late each month and left my apartment in great shape and cleaned out. They said it could take a month for me to get a bill, the manager Jennifer said she's not sure since it's a "skip" if I'm charged the $1300 fee or not. I tried to call on February 4th and she answered and stated I wasn't able to pay my last 2 months now, I have to wait for the bill which could take up to 30 days like I said and that it's with corkage now and out of her hands. What a great manager huh? One who doesn't really seem to help but to steer away. This place is horrible and I would NEVER recommend this to anyone. Parking is terrible, management doesn't fix your problems and multiple people have had their cars broken in to and stolen. Terrible place. 0/10.

Please be advised that there are two different owners to the complex. This is not information provided when you move in. If I need something I am not able to call the main office I am only able to talk to one person. Said person doesn't take dangerous situations seriously. While living here I have had to call the police no less than 4 times, one of which was after hearing a shotgun being cocked outside of a neighboring apartment. Prior to resigning a second lease we were promised the eviction of neighbors, neighbors who the police have been to their apartment for domestic issues upon several occasions. This never happened. I was once called by maintenance stating my apartment was broken into. When I told them I just left the apartment and I was crying on the phone because I have a pet I was told not to overreact. As I was on my way back to the apartment I was called back stating they had the wrong address. The parking is horrible and inconvenient. The trash is always over flowing. You can never have your windows open when the weather is warm without the apartment being filled with smoke from neighbors. As we were in the process of moving out we were sent a letter advising the apartment needed to be professionally cleaned for $225. I reviewed the lease and this is no where to be found. I had emailed the landlord three times prior to receiving a response and the request was still extra contractural. The complex is horrible.

One of the worst community to live in don't go by the low price being shown by them , when you sign lease, go through there document, they have so many hidden ways to charge, that you will think, why you joined here. Like clause 6 in lease agreement, which talks about they will charge you for exterminating of pests, and for every small problem you may have in yours apartment they have a rate list also for same. The worst thing is there pest management company, EPM they will force you to get treatment done, even when no issue is there, and charge you for that, management here is not there to listen to you.they just don't listen.

My daughter and I went to tour this property. We were greeted with a big smile by Abby. She genuinely seemed happy to show us around and was very informative. It has recently been renovated and is beautiful. My daughter hasn't decided on a place yet but this is top on the list.

New management (Champion) wants above market rate for the same square footage and layout as other apartment complexes and refuse to negotiate. The complex has multiple issues which have not, and likely will not, be addressed. Anything listed below will be issues that either arose during or after Champions take over on 9/20/2022 or are still ongoing. As a tenant I pay on time, and rarely called maintenance in my three years of living here. Champion wants to raise rent by $200. I offered half and they replied with "We can't negotiate." The amenities are also closed until renovations are done. What exactly am I paying for if these amenities are no longer offered? There have been many issues with communication. The new management was announced on the day it occurred leaving tenants little time to swap over payment and other items as rent was due on the first of the month. New management should have had old management announce this earlier so tenants could prepare. This is simply done in terms of purchase contracts. The only answer from management to this was "Make sure you pay rent on time."The trash compactor has been full multiple times leading to residents placing trash on the ramp up to the compactor. Some noted dates include, 10/1, Halloween, 11/30- 12/4, Christmas, New Years, and more recently 1/20 and 2/2.The grass areas on south most side and the back of the community facing Costco are filled with dog waste. There is currently a large amount of trash in the parking lot laying around either in the grass or on the pavement. Cups, bags, and other small items.Children are allowed to scream in the parking lot for hours when the weather is warmer. Sometimes running in front of cars. Reporting this has no outcome.Drug activity in the parking lot.No assigned parking. Good luck finding a close parking space.During heavier rain the entrance to the community floods and prevents small cars from entering. This led to potholes in early February. The potholes were patched but nothing has been done to address the flooding that has been occurring in the area so this will likely occur until efforts to create additional drainage are made. This has been going on since I've moved in during April of 2020.There have been black trash bags over windows in the community since I've moved in, one in the front close to the office and one near 1519 - 1545. This makes the community look trashy and gives the sense of nothing being done to improve said community.

Lived here 3 years, went through at least 6 property managers. Always completely unorganized. They've changed the way I have to pay rent at least 4 times. After I pay rent (and they cash my check) they tell me I haven't paid and owe late fees. They markup all your utilities (about double what you should pay) through a fake company so they can make more money than just off rent. Maintenance is a joke. Everything is cheap from the fixtures to the driveway and the drainage. It's only halfway nice because it's still relatively new. Driveway becomes a lake every time it rains. To get out you have to use the longest traffic light in Columbus. Sidewalks go NOWHERE and you can't walk anywhere from this place without trespassing or walking in the street.
