My wife and I decided to get married at the pavillion. This was an amazing venue and the staff are amazing and accommodating. We got married outside and had the reception inside and under the pavillion. The venue provides you with tables and chairs, which is amazing for the price. You are able to bring your own food or high your own vendor. For alcohol, you have to purchase a temporary permit $170 and have to hire from a preferred alcohol vendor. That said, we hired the bartenders from Ohio Bartenders and purchased our own alcohol and beverages. Much cheaper option and worked perfectly. The outside space is large and perfect for any occasion. Also, the pictures you can take are just amazing. You also have access to the kitchen space which has a large standing cooler and industrial ice machine. Everything you need in one place, it's perfect. Parking is a bit scarce but when you reserve you get 26 spots located right in front on the street. I would highly recommend renting this for your next celebration of any kind.

North Bank Park has such wonderful views of the city. It is conveniently located next to the many parks along the Scioto Mile and connects to the greenway trails that go through the area. It features a very nice and popular shelter that, in non-pandemic times, can be rented. At our visit, it looked like they were doing some work on it. There is a nice large area of picnic tables under a shady area, plus umbrella tables with a great view of the river, providing a lot of opportunities to sit and relax. There is a fountain near the shelter, though it wasn't currently running at the time of our most recent visit - it's probably a bit early in the season. Street parking is available nearby (if you can get it - it was full up when we came by), or there are garages in the area. You can also access via the trails by foot, scooter, bike, and the like. We walked over from Battelle Riverfront Park and back again.

Who knew North Bank Park was even a thing? Apparently five other Yelpers knew before me, which makes me a little late to the game. It's really close to downtown and connects to the Scioto Mile, so it's easy to miss with everything else going on in the area. However, it is really beautiful and a great place to pop a squat and enjoy the weather, people watching, or one of the many festivities that takes place in the area throughout the year. It's easy to access, kept very clean, and has one of the best views of the Columbus Skyline. I'll definitely be sure to visit again. I'd actually love to take a blanket and a little picnic or book to soak up the sun and enjoy for a bit.

I think North Bank Park isn't as respected as it should be. It's near Bicentennial Park and the Scioto Mile. Those get a lot of attention. It has a good view of downtown and the river. This isn't as crowded as the others. I came this way from the other parks. It's not as easy to get to. There aren't any working meters along this part of the street. It also doesn't have a parking lot. There is a beautiful pavilion close off the street. It looks like a nice place to rent. The park is one of the best places to see Red, White, and Boom. It gets super crowded though. They are connected to the bike trail so bicyclists and runners can rest. I would tell others to not forget North Bank Park. It's near several other parks and attractions. They are a good place for viewing activities and other events that are held there.

North Bank is a great little park right beside Downtown, with great views and easy access to other parks. I've been here before for events, and just to hang out; this time I rode through on my bike. It connects to all the trails in the area, and has nice spots for picnicking, playing, and relaxing. There's a shelter house, and tables with umbrellas. Nice rolling slopes to sit on or roll down. A pleasant place for lunch or a walk, and beautiful to ride through.

This wonderful example of landscaping and architectural art sits where the Scioto parallels the Spring/Long Street splits and before it bends south into the downtown district, where Neil Avenue makes its terminus into Spring. It is a surprisingly quiet spot with a gorgeous view of the downtown cityscape, the river, and of two railroad bridges that flank the park. It was the spot of the old Ohio Penn, and the City couldn't have done any better with the land. Fit snug into the space between street and river, North Bank doesn't have a lot of thrills. But it does have picnic tables and chairs. Lots of lush green spaces run through the park beside a trail connecting the Olentangy and Scioto greenways; well maintained street lights--almost Sherlock Holmes' London types--dot beside the asphalt. There is also a sylvan embankment rising from the street that has a surprising variety of birds. The medium between Spring and Long is also well design, in a classical grassy knoll kind of way; you will find signs there referring to the history of the area. The park has a beautiful red brick and glass pavilion that is available for rent. This would be a great place for a wedding, or even a reception, if one could get clever with an obvious parking problem. In all, this would be the spot for a blanketed, romantic picnic ( cliche?), or some photographs, or just to sit and read a page turner and enjoy the serenity. It is amazing with the Arena district just to your north, downtown to your East, and the busy railroad crossing above you, how peaceful this place is.

wanted this to be my wedding location but they are doing construction for the next 2 years. Yes, that's right, till December of 2015... tear. This location is just amazing. It is better then anything else you can find in Columbus. The view, the building, the location, the price. The city even offers the chairs. You can use any food vender but have to go through one of their preferred people for alcohol. I really love this spot and the path along it.

Be weary for your wedding! While the location and venue are beautiful, we had many difficulties with the Recreation & Parks staff onsite for our event. Without consulting us first, they forced our DJ to call last-call for drinks over an hour before our scheduled, paid for time was up. They even tried to make the tent company tear-down the tent an hour early, instructing guests to get up and move. Thankfully the tent company clarified it would only take 10 minutes and it unnecessary to tear-down an hour early! They also did not allow our guests to continue using the restroom up until the scheduled, paid for time. Another group showed up during our scheduled, paid for time waiting to complete a rehearsal once we were done. The Recreation & Parks staff rushed to get us out of the venue and never spoke with us directly about any timing concerns. This was especially disappointing because we had a strict timeline that accounted for tear-down. Communicate with those who paid to rent your space, not overstep and demand! These negative interactions really impacted our special day.
