Since Coastal Ridge Real Estate took over from Edwards Community Management. Everything has gone down hill. From the secure parking lot being accessible to vagrants. To several apartments being used as AirBnB rentals. We have had vehicles stolen and broken into. The security cameras do not work. Trash building up outside by the dumpster. The stench from the dumpster is ridiculous. You cannot sit on your porch, not to mention open your windows without gagging! These issues started to arise soon after Coastal Ridge took over. The employees are posting positive reviews in order to get their ratings up! Beware!

DO NOT live here, unless you want to be completely scammed. Rome one of the leasing agents told my roommate and I we would get "2 months free" rent, which was a total lie. Not to mention we also had to wait for a spot to even park in the attached parking garage. Nothing is ever fixed in a timely manner, and the leasing office MISTAKENLY threw away my passport. My roomate and I had to go to the main branch post office when we moved in to even get a mail box key, due to the previous residents not returning the key. In turn any mail we received in this time the leasing office magically had no idea where it was. The Normandy managment team is beyond unprofessional. Not to mention we are now getting monthly email notices we are getting saying we are evicted, because auto pay is not working. Do not live here.

I would not recommend this place to live . It has nice amenities and could be very nice , however the on site property management is poor. They do have good employees, I think this is a direct correlation of the primary mangers inability to effectively mange and solve problems. If you choose to live there, I have some recommendations from experience. Continuously verify the charges to your ledger , make sure any and all request are in writing . Look for something other than. Any staff members words to verify anything being told to you is true, if not get it in writing . Be prepared to have the majority of your deliveries stolen . Instead taking reasonable measures for security . The management will hire lawyers to respond to any complaint you have with legalese. They will in writing remind you that the Normandy is not responsible . I feel it's their attempt to bully and intimidate you . It probably cost more to hire these lawyers than to actually take action to reduce the theft risk .Do not live on the 1st or 2nd floor or near a courtyard . It smells all year round . Prepare for shotty maintenance work. All and all it has great potential but I could not recommend this place to anyone I like , as a place to live .

Started an application and paid the fees only to find out nobody would get back to me even after they overcharged me. I called at least 12 times with no answer and e-mailed many times. Started a second application for the same apartment and they charged me more application fees (which they said would be refunded). During this time and even after being given the cost of the apartment, they raised it $400.00 not between the first and second time, but after I paid the second set of application fees that I was told would be refunded. "We are working on refunding your application fees. . . " one rep stated on an e-mail. I noticed they had not refunded the cost and e-mailed and they state none of the 6 fees will be refunded! What a rip-off company! These are fraudulent practices, but seeing by other reviews, I am glad that we did not get the apartment. What frauds!

Zero review stars because I'm that upset about the management that took over less than a year ago. They do not care about safety at all and a handful of apartments have been broken into. The garage is way over priced for there not being safety measures in place and it shows as many vehicles have been rummaged through and a couple stolen. Serious mold issue on windows that is related to cheap construction and can't be easily fixed. Management ignores residents calls. Even have tried to get cars towed out of the spot I pay for multiple times and management does nothing, leaving me to have to pay metered parking on the streets of downtown Columbus. ( which isn't easy due to the construction all around). It's so sad to see such a beautiful property be tarnished by management that is so bad they must try to be this way!

I moved here 3 years ago when Edwards managed the property. Ever since Costal Ridge took over, I have had nothing but problems. Soon after Costal Ridge took over, security went severely downhill. Our front door was often broken. The fob would not lock or the glass to the door would be shattered. Apartments were being rented as Air BnBs. Packages would go missing. Not only were cars in the garage (closed entrance and exit) broken into, but a car was stolen. This is completely unacceptable. It wasn't until after all of this happened that I started to see security around the building at night. The lack of communication by management is baffling. Not only from the leasing agents, but the property manager and regional manager as well. There were several times I sent them messages and no one replied. It usually ended with me having to walk to the leasing office and speak with someone. A couple months into this pandemic, I could no longer afford to live here. The property acted like they cared, but did nothing to help. And I know this was the case with several people. Management does not care about their residents, they care about the business and that is all. I sent a letter to end the lease early. I was not contacted for 3 weeks after until someone called to tell me that they thought I had moved out and clearly had not. They locked me out of the portal and I could not contact anyone. I left messages and sent emails to the generic "info" email only for no one to respond. When I finally did speak with someone, she had no idea what I was talking about and said she would have to speak with the property manager to get back to me. I got a call from Kacey and she had plenty of excuses as to why I had not be contacted, let me know my balance and told me they had already given my parking spot away. All of this is completely unacceptable. They made assumptions without EVER speaking to me and that is their problem not mine.I would not recommend this place to anyone. The management makes it pretty much unbearable.

I've had a lovely experience here at The Normandy. Have been here since the beginning. Property management really has tried to do their best during CV-19. Anytime I've needed help around the unit with maintenance or payment concerns, it's been promptly resolved and addressed.

These apartments had such great potential but with the staff that doesn't respond in a timely manner and they push maintenance requests out and with the smells in the hallway I know that's not the staff's fault because people aren't taking care of their pets but on the site it says 35 lb limit on pets but I've seen several huge dogs within a lot of these apartments so that falls on the staff for not making sure the rules are followed and then they want to add some concessions in the lease about charging people a fine for not putting the trash and recycles in the proper areas we've been here a month now and we sent multiple emails asking where the recycling goes no one's responded so how do they expect people to know where to put these items if no one tells you and then you want to fine someone. To me that's poor management and then moving people in apartments that aren't even move in ready it's crazy I'll be counting down the days until our 12 month lease is up. And the floor is buckled up in the front entrance way which is hazardous and it's been that way for a month now since we've been here it's probably been there even longer yet they say oh we're short staffed that's not our problem but they don't have a problem telling you hey rents due. I myself was a property manager in the past and some of the things they're doing and not doing isn't right
