Huge servings of authentic Cajun food. Their signature dish of blackened chicken and bowtie pasta is great. The jambalaya was fantastic as well, the andouille sausage was the highlight of the dish.The dining area itself is quaint and small but comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, they know the menu well and can answer questions if you're not a Cajun connoisseur.Finally, it should be noted that the menu prices may appear high but the portion sizes are in-line. The two entrees I ordered were three full meals for two people, well valued for the price.

Customers are often confused by the ordering process. Often there is a small print menu on the wall by the cash register.While there are a variety of things on that menu, look for the creole /cajun items which Customers tend to rave about.

First time trying Cajun IslandBlackened Chicken with Bow-tie pasta was recommended as a bestseller. This is a very eclectic New Orleans-style restaurant serving authentic style food, they even have gator bites which I didn't try this time. Most patrons were doing carryout and there was a wait for those that had a large order. There's no words for the Blackened Chicken and Bow tie pasta. I've had friends drive two hours for it. The best!

Come in to eat with my family, 1/2 the family got food 20 min. Before the other 1/2. No plates to share family pan. We have always lined Nico's but this time it was bad. Service bad and the bow tie blackened chicken didn't taste the same as before.wont be back and will not recommend any more.

The blackened Cajun pasta is AMAZING. We order the family portion and it feeds sooooooo many people. This is often our go-to for family parties!

Never ordered from you but I was at a church function and they had shrimp and some type of pasta with sauce.There was also a blackened chicken with yellow rice with a delicious seasoning with red peppers +..Food was a 5 Stars! Can you tell me what that was and can I get a single order and not an entire pan?Please let me know soonest as I Live about 10 miles away but wanna know before I make the drive.Thanks in advance.

Had my first visit and my meal (crawdad etouffee) that was made to order and it was very good. Not really spicy (at least to me) but it's easy to rectify that. The website is very out of date in terms of pricing but was justified by the huge portion. It was easily enough for 2. I have included a photo of the current menu and pricing. Plan to take your meal to go. I had hoped to dine in but they were absolutely BLASTING a regular radio station, including commercials, political ads, etc., over a large speaker. There were also 2 tv's, on different stations, playing at a low volume. The overall noise was overwhelming and uncomfortable. I have taken a star off the rating because of this. I sat outside next to a busy road instead because it was much quieter.

I called and ordered yesterday. Was told 15-20min and this was fairly normal. Then I get there at that time and the food was not ready and was told another several minutes. The restaurant was full of about 7 other patrons waiting for their to go orders as well. I waited another 30min. Then they brought out the wrong order. Another 30min and they finally had my to go order ready. The quality of the chicken bow tie pasta left much to be desired from their usual. The sauce was super thin compared to usual. The chicken much tougher as well. We usually eat here once a month and seemed completely overwhelmed. I am not one to ask for free anything. But after that $h!t show I anticipated and apology and maybe something for my wait. But it was quite something.$30 for the blackened bow tie chicken pasta and an order of just blackened chicken strips.
