Nancy's Scoops

Lots of great flavors to try! The cones were crispy and tasted great, too! My son enjoyed his MASSIVE $1 vanilla soft serve, and the rest of us got regular ice cream... VERY generous on the one scoop! Wow!

We visited Nancy's Scoops because a different ice cream shop down the street that we intended to visit was closed. On a weekend. So we went to Nancy's, which is open on the weekend. Hooray for ice cream shops that are open on the weekend.The prices here are very good, and the variety of ice cream flavors and ice cream permutations is excellent. They offer soft serve, sundaes, swirls, parfaits, milkshakes, malts, floats, sodas and lots more.Nancy's is also more than just ice cream: She offers a large lunch menu that consists of sandwiches, corn dogs, cheeseburgers, soups, salads, loaded tots and fries, and like a dozen different sides, like onion rings, mozzarella sticks, zucchini fries, fried mushrooms, cheese curds and something called cauliflower BT. I have no idea what that is, but it contains cauliflower, which is a vegetable, so it must be somewhat good for you, right?For the dairy-free folks, Nancy's offers a handful of dairy-free ice cream flavors. We chose Super Hero ice cream and a cookie dough milkshake, which was decidedly full of dairy. The ice cream is Perry's Ice Cream.The decor of the shop is very retro, like being in a 1950s diner. There are lots of tables inside at which to sit and enjoy your treats.

Super cute. Like a concession stand type feel. Quick, cheap, tastes great. We got three huge ice cream bowls for 8$. You couldn't get that anywhere else. Wide variety of flavors. Way better than Dairy Queen.

Great service and great food and prices! Large variety of food and ice cream, and also creamy soft serve, Drive thro and inside dining. Highly recommended!

Had never been here before. Was in town from Columbus for the day. This place is awesome. Tons of flavors to choose from. Very nice about offering samples to taste. Prices were very reasonable. The young woman that waited in us was kind and patient with us being newbies and asking questions. Don't miss this place.

Such a wonderful place. There ice cream and food is some of the best I have ever had. Ice cream is much better than the DQ.

Best Ice cream in town. Even better than frozen custard. Reasonable prices too. Many great flavors of hand dipped ice cream too.

Good ice cream, but a little pricey for me.There's not much else I can say about this place.

Ran by a bunch girls who drop food on the ground, the manager doesn't care, I was told she's usually drunk by one of the employees. (Just what I heard) Just take this place with a grain of salt. Usually only old heads eat here. Probably why the rates are so high. Their milkshakes definitely bring all the boys to the yard tho
