What a hidden gem. I'm in southern Ohio this week for work. My brother lives northern Ohio. While we originally identified our halfway point as Caldwell, my uncle encouraged us to meet in Cambridge specifically to come to Lee's. It was one of my mom's favorite restaurants, which I should have remembered from my college years when she would want to stop there on the way to or from campus. We were greeted and seated right away and our drink orders were taken before we'd even taken our coats off. We knew we had to order the pizza burger - strict orders from my uncle! -- and I remembered that my mom loved the Mecca salad dressing. My brother and I split the pizza burger and I was genuinely surprised at how good it was. The burger itself wasn't remarkable, but the pizza sauce was really quite tasty - lots of herbs and garlic - and the cheese was melty. I ordered the Tuesday special of chicken and noodles for dinner. They were exactly what I was hoping for, a warm comforting plate of tasty food. The mashed potatoes weren't remarkable. The Mecca dressing was a hit - it's a Catalina style dressing with onions. The salad was just iceberg lettuce so having a more flavorful dressing was the right choice. Service was incredible. We mentioned to the server that our mom had loved the restaurant when she asked if it was our first time there. She was so kind, asking about our mom and when she would have been there. Food came out quickly and our table was well attended to. We ordered two piece of peanut butter pie and a serving of rice pudding. OMG. That was absolutely worth giving my brother the last of my chicken and noodles so I'd have room for dessert! It's not a fine dining experience. It's a local, family-owned restaurant that's been here for 60 years. It's worth stopping in for some local flavor. And we got three beverages, an appetizer, the pizza burger, a sandwich, two entrees, and three desserts for $55. That's a steal as far as I'm concerned.

I have been here two times now, once back in 1989 and most recently last month. The first time was because it was the only place open on Christmas Eve if I recall correctly and I was visiting family and hungry. This last month I came for someones 50th anniversary dinner. We ate in the large room and we got to order off of the special even menu. I can't complain about anything here, the food was good, the service was excellent and the dessert was tasty.I would come back here again.

Charming little restaurant. Dorthy our server made the experience. She was so sweet and welcoming. Try the onion rings if you go. They are hand cut, lightly breaded, and simply amazing! We were in Cambridge for a weekend trip, but I would drive the 2 hours back for those onion rings & the great service.

Holy crap what did we just walk into??? We are out of hash browns...steeeerike one. Can I have pork tenderloins and green beans? Yes sir. I received mashed potatoes and was told that's how everyone orders it so just give it to him. Steeeerrike 2. Pork tenderloins were the size of a quarter and had the shit beat out of them by a mallet. Urrrrr out! Waaaaait a second! It was a baulk. They also brought out green beans which scored them 2 stars.

Great food. Got the original pizza burger and it was delicious! Our waitress was super nice but we didn't get refills the entire time:/ Mixed feelings.

I wanted to give this restaurant a good review because I frequent the area often for business. However, I think three stars is being generous!I walked in and the sign said please seat yourself. That's fine except, I had to walk around for a bit to find a clean table. I sat down and then a woman came and asked me what I would like to drink. While I waited I noticed that the place looked a little dirty and greasy. My table was pretty sticky as well. A few minutes later another woman came over and took my order. In the 11 minutes (for breakfast) it took for the food to arrive, another waitress's daughter brought her toddler in and sat a few tables away. The entire staff (including my waitress) seemed to care more about how cute the toddler was, than the tables they were waiting. My food comes. It's okay. The sausage links we're the frozen, mushy ones and the eggs were over done. Also the three eggs had formed in to one giant blob and were kind of just thrown on to the plate in a heaping mess. I saw my waitress a couple times while I was eating, but it was only to walk over to grab toys out of the bin beside my table for the toddler play with. She didn't ask me how my food was and she didn't ask if I needed anything else. After the meal she came and cleaned up my plate and I didn't see her again until I paid. I had to wait a good 15 minutes for the original lady who brought me water to bring me a check, which she "thought she brought me awhile back"..... I went up to pay and another lady took my check while my waitress conveniently appeared by her side. Just in time to see how much I tipped her....The breakfast food was okay. But I would say, if you don't have patience for slow service or that small town messy breakfast feel, drive down the street to the Bob Evans!

Haven't been there in awhile because the food stated to not taste like it did when Lee Scott was still there. Think maybe the new operators changed theingredients for more profit and doing so ruined the good way it tasted.

I personally thought it was not good at all I orderd the mashed potatoes with noodles over the top and I was very disappointed the noodles had no broth at all so please don't say they are freshly homemade that isnt true they were wormed up and put on my potatoes I ask the girl if she could get me some broth and she brought me chicken soup that was like gravy I suppose? needless to say someone needs to revise them noodle as the menu states, cause that was embarrassing for Lee's to say homemade noodle them were so not good

Sopapilla seemed like it was bought frozen at supermarket and microwaved. Like one of those Jamaican patties. Cost $13 with tax, etc.
