I love their buffet style order from the views. The yellow rice has flavor. The beans are nice as well. There meats i love their steak, pork, meatballs, porkchops, their empandas are nicely filled and they have many different ones to choose from. The ground beef and pizza are the ones I tend to favor the most. Also, try some of their yummy soups.. filling, and the broth is very tasty as well. This is a spot I do go out my way to return, too. You get a decent size portion for the $

Various Stewed and baked meats with little flavor with three different rices. All this could be done at home. Nevertheless the options there are dry like they need some type of dip or savory sauce to sit in to moisturize their entrees. Pastries are unique but dry and dehydrated like they've been sitting for hours as well. Small and tight inside and they could invest in some AC. No one was behind me but dude serving was rushing me through the line as I was trying to make my selections plus he didn't give me that much for what I paid. Guy gave me hella rice but little to no main entree meats. Menu is convoluted and confusing. I attempted to ask the server what comes with the meal, the base price etc but replied with rapid jumbled vernacular so by the time I rang out with One plate with two meats, dry rice, no salad which he claimed was included and two pastries with no drink it was $22. Think of all the other places in the city you could go either dine in or take out and what you could get for $22. Furthermore it's not too aesthetically pleasing to eye. Yeah I got fleeced and finessed but I was trying to support a local business and cultural population so overall I was glad to help this one time but I'll never be back and ultimately don't recommend to anyone else. Apparently maybe they're opening a second location next to Chuck E Cheese on West Broad but I assume it'll be the same or worse. Sorry coach but this ain't it.

Wonderful local "fonda", word to describe a food joint in the Caribbean. Quick service and good prices for authentic Puerto Rican and Dominican fare. Owners are friendly and menu changes daily with specials on weekends.
