Met a friend for lunch. No signage out front yet, just a little sidewalk board. Super fun interior, loud music, comfy seats. I walked in wanting a burger. Then I saw the menu, and went with street corn and some tacos. The street corn was good. The carnitas taco was very good. The birria taco was excellent. Comes with a little cup of thick consomme. So much flavor.Prices are okay. It's good stuff, and decent portions. Lots of other things on the menu I'd like to try.

This place knocked it out of the park again! So good! The street corn is phenomenal and the service is prompt and friendly! You need to try the smash burger! I had two on this visit!

Previously known as Short & Stout, and serving their new-age burgers, tots and poutine dishes out of German Village's Daily Growler, Lehne and her husband, who now started Mnches Kitchen, are a great duo!! I won't lie, I was completely bummed when S&S closed; however, I'm elated to see she's come back, this time in Newark, and STILL serving up tasty food!!I don't get to explore Newark nearly as much as I'd like to, to I'm glad Mnches was an excuse to head out east. They are currently serving tacos, and being that they've been trying to get up and rolling over this statewide shutdown, they're working hard to get things moving and get their name out and about. They're working on rehabbing a storage container that will sit on DankHouse's large back patio space. It seems that DankHouse already has a faithful following, so I hope Mnches has great success. Down to the tacos, cause, let's face it, food is always a great selling point: Excellent! The carnitas meat was juicy and tender, very easy to chew. With the simple toppings of cheese - on the bottom, of course! - chopped onion and cilantro and a squiggle of sour cream, the authentic Mexican soft corn tortilla-size tacos were a delight! Yes, I will admit I wanted to down a few more of those suckers, they were calling my tastebuds. As their menu builds and develops, I'm excited to have a concrete reason to make the trek out east. Welcome to the taco game, Mnches!!

We were told it would be over an hour for our order but the brewery was not extremely busy. The chorizo queso was supposed to have chorizo in it, it didn't. The street corn was a bowl of a half can of corn with the liquid still in it with a sprinkle of cheese and cilantro. They blew me off when I tried to talk to them about it. These food trucks are getting bad.

The beef tacos are so good that they are worth a drive even if you don't live locally. The beer at the brewery is expertly crafted and better than anything within at least 30 miles. There is a large pet friendly outdoor space with sun, shade, and fire rings. Sometimes they run out of food which is a good thing, it means they don't have a freezer full of stuff to heat up.

They were great at their old location, like really good and wowed. The new location seems to be putting less in the tacos and over salting tacos and their great smash burger. We've tried the new location two or three times and just way too much salt. My wife was upset as they even scrimped on the mushroom and cod tacos, she showed me only 3 three little pieces of mushroom on one and three little chunks of fish on the cod. Very disappointed. We may try again in a few months as they were great at old location and we were so excited to eat at their new location.
