One of my favorite spots to go for happy hour. The service, drinks and food are great. They have a private parking lot so that's easy. In the spring, summer and fall they have a wood burning fireplace with outdoor seating. That's a nice place to enjoy the evening.Today I opted for the Exotic Mojito and my fav, the surf and turf. Perfect portion for me. I love that they remove the entire shell from the shrimp, even the tail so you don't miss out on any bites. The chimichurri on the steak was great.Much thanks to the three people in the bar area for providing great service and getting everyone taken care of.

We had the best waiter we've probably had anywhere ever. I'm not sure what his name was, but if you go here ask for the guy from Staten Island. This was probably a 3 star review with just an average waiter, but he elevated the whole experience and subsequently the rating for us. Outside of that, the food was sus, I had the wagyu strip which had absolutely excellent flavor but was extremely difficult to chew. I ended up having to abandon half the steak, which stinks for an $80 cut of meat. And while the mashed potatoes had excellent flavor, they were like warm at best. The salads to begin the meal were actually very good. And while I'm not usually a bread guy, the bread here was irresistible. We skipped dessert and I'm sure it would have been excellent. My daughter did love her filet and she's a filet connoisseur! I do think we would give it another shot, and I'd probably just go with the filet next time myself. The ambiance and atmosphere are top notch too, a beautiful setting.

The service was great, our waitress, Madison, was very kind, however the food had no flavor, the sauce I received with my salmon was delicious, however they only gave me about a tea spoon of it, they were very stingy with their sauces. Unfortunately, the good service doesn't outweigh the bland food considering the price, I expected it to be spectacular.

We flew into Columbus and arrived late to our hotel in the Polaris Mall area, Mitchell's was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed as they accommodated us dispute the late arrival. I had their steak Oscar and my companion had their Salmon, we shared the chopped salad which delicious as well as unique with the hearts of palm, and goat cheese. I tried their spiced prickly pear margarita and it was wonderful. Also tried the first house Cabernet also a wonderful choice. We were full but got their carrot cake to go and it was so big it lasted during our whole weekend trip to Columbus. The tables were comfortable and we really enjoyed our experience!

While I've been to the Mitchell's Steakhouse downtown before, this was my first time dining at Mitchell's in Polaris. The building has a clean modern look to it and definitely feels upscale as you walk in. The servers are professional and efficient. The menu has everything you'd expect at a prime steakhouse.So far so good. I had their 7oz filet with shrimp, which was cooked medium as ordered. The meat was seasoned well and tender. But it didn't have the nice char on the surface that you'd expect at a prime steakhouse. At $53 for the 7oz filet and an additional $14 for the shrimp toppings, I really can't say that the plate I got was worth $67. (And sides all cost extra on top) At that price point, I would recommend Eddie Merlot's instead. They're literally just a block away.

Steak was absolutely cold. It took over an hour after ordering our food to be served by far the worst steak I've had at any steakhouse. It was so bad I didn't eat anything and still had to fork up a bunch of money for a meal I didn't eat. Go somewhere else, it's not worth the wait or cost.

Dined at Mitchel's Steakhouse a couple days before Christmas to celebrate with the family and it did not disappoint. Lillian was our server and she did a fantastic job with recommendations and ensuring we had a smooth dining experience. I had the oysters, cesear salad and the scallops and risotto. All were amazing!

No longer a Cameron Mitchell's restaurant, and it shows.The biggest disappointment was the poor service and attention that you would expect for such a high price establishment, especially compared to what we've experienced at other Cameron Mitchell restaurants. If our server said "my apologies" once, he said it 20 times. We did not get the sense he was new, just not of great caliber. It wasn't until the third time we asked that he cleared off dirty dishes from previous courses, and still did not take them all. That's basic server 101. There's nothing like trying to enjoy your main course or dessert with dirty plates and dishes from the previous courses on the table.The quality of the food was inconsistent. Appetizers and side courses were delicious, but we went there for the steaks and were let down. I had the bourbon ribeye, and my daughter had the fillet. We were both surprised at the toughness of the cook, especially the fillet. Our server told me I would be impressed with the marbling on the ribeye, but candidly it ended up more gristle than marble.it's not often my daughter and I get a chance to go to dinner together and with a more than $200 price tag, I was certainly expecting more quality and care for their reputation. Next time we will stick with proper Cameron Mitchell restaurants.
